Hello Juanita: I don't have to tell you how thankful we all are, SCHHOA is, to have your Samantha Mangiola working for C/S and our SCHHOA. Samantha took upon herself to politely invite her presence at our BOD's Zoom meeting Saturday at 10:00AM. She was smart enough to perceive rough waters ahead amongst our BOD's
relative to a problem with our current Landscape company. It didn't take long for sparks to start flying between our treasure and myself, without boring you with details, there has been a smoldering discontent among our treasure and myself from the inception of our volunteerism, with SCHHOA, back in January,2025. After we both had words,
Samantha stepped in and immediately, like a swan swooning down onto its squabbling cygnets to calm the situation and restore decorum amongst us all;
without taking sides with anyone, she merely reminded us of our primary purpose, that is to serve our HOA membership and although we are all members too, our first thought of service must be the greater good of the whole, HOA and all its members, that we pledged to represent. My purpose(SAM) here is to make sure we all play by the rules and enforce them, again, for the greater good of members and the neighborhood. In accordance with your CC&R's /Amended polices /procedures. This meeting is for BOD's only, any guest present, if not a BOD has fifteen minutes to speak prior to the meeting, or fifteen minutes to speak after the meeting, other than that, they are to remain silent and are not permitted to join in on any discussion amongst the board of Directors. An outburst by a male non BOD, was heard attempting to make a point about prior protocol procedures followed, Samantha, firmly explained, those actions are not correct and would you please refrain from speaking, I could hear Samantha's internal warning system receiving I have tone, standby to fire, one more outburst and she would have most likely shamed the rude speaker to exit the zoom. That happened as the person was becoming an unpleasant disturbance and exited the zoom meeting on his own accord. Myself with a big smile on my face of gratitude and calm, was most impressed with our Community Manager and her cool manner in which she handled the entire situation and allowed us to move on to other business at hand. Thank You, young lady for being there for that needed moment and providing certain BODs with an idea of how these meeting should be conducted without conflict.
Kudos to Samantha Mangiola, what a professional!! ***** Hal Mawrence, President SCHHOA :)
