I highly recommend EMS University - Union City campus. My daughter took the EMT Bootcamp from EMSU-Union City, CA in May 2024 and has had a very positive experience. The Union City Manager Ms. Linder Travis tried her best to make the class so worthwhile to attend for every student. Right after my daughter registered for the class, Linda sent study materials and required tests and forms so that my daughter could start preparing for the class earlier. During the bootcamp, Linda was there every day to solve students' issues. She worked tirelessly even during weekends to help students. Linda tried her best to hire the best EMT instructors to teach the students. EMSU has very high standards for the bootcamp. There are exams every other day and students need to have a 75% passing grade, which ensures students are well prepared for their NREMT exams. Ms. Linda also helped my daughter to enroll in 36 hr externship and get approved for taking NREMT right afterwards, as my daughter is an out-of-state college student and needed to return to her college right after the bootcamp. My daughter took her NREMT test about 7 days after the bootcamp, and she passed the test! EMSU is amazing in how well they prepared the students for the NREMT test. Two weeks later my daughter got her CA EMT license. We are all very grateful for Ms. Linda for her hard work and efforts to make the EMT education a very positive experience for every student.
