I was a half hour early for my appointment no one said a word all the staff at the desk were courteous and professional. They should be a training other staff in doctor's offices I have been in. Dr Morar goes above and beyond to answer all your questions and I can be a headache. See you in a year!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Krishna Morar at Cohen Eye Institute for many years. I moved to Manhattan and for a brief stint, and went to another eye doctor and had to go right back to Cohen Eye Institute. Dr. Morar is a wonderful, honest doctor and has integrity, along with all the staff. They truly care about your eye health above all else. They are not motivated by money/ glasses sales here like other places I’ve been to.
Updated review: I received LASIK services with Dr. Cohen and I cannot express how truly pleased I am with the results. To speak to how true of a testament Cohen Eye Institute is: I was recently in the ER for extreme discomfort and photo sensitivity in my eyes, and after being transferred from my local hospital to another hospital, I was presumably diagnosed with acute angle closure glaucoma and was told that I would need additional Laser surgery to treat the issue....

Dr. Sagar Dhandia is an amazing person. He takes the time to listen, and to explain his diagnosis thoroughly. He's friendly and approachable. The office is extremely clean, spacious and equipped with the latest eye examination tools etc. Some of the front office folks are a bit unfriendly but don't let it stop you, because the doctors and their assistants are super nice and efficient.

I had such a positive experience at Cohen’s Eye Institute. Dr. Krawitz was very attentive and took the time to explain what was going on with my eye, which made me feel a lot more comfortable. My eye doctor told me I needed the cataract removed before I can get new prescription glasses. He gave me a card for Cohen Eye Institute, which is close to where I live. I was nervous about the surgery but they did an excellent job. It took less than 30 mins and my vision was crystal clear right out of surgery. I would like to thank my VSP doctor on Queens Blvd who sent me to Cohen Eye Institute. And Dr. Krawitz and his staff for handling everything professionally.

My partner recently underwent cataract surgery with him, and the entire experience — from consultation to post-op — was seamless. Very good. I had cataract surgery on both eyes by Dr Krawitz. I don’t have to wear glasses or contacts anymore. I just want to thank him and the staff that work in the Ridgewood Queens office for making me feel comfortable and go out of their way to help you understand everything that they are doing.
