I was having a problem with my shoulder, putting pressure on it and lifting. I wasn't sure if it was muscular or something else. Dr. Allred was able to tell me that my shoulder was separating (not quite separated) and he could start to get everything back into position. He talks you through each motion as he adjusts so you don't have to worry about what is going to happen. All the staff are so kind and helpful if you need anything! I came to Body Balance at the recommendation of my doctor after getting x-rays and an MRI to evaluate my lower back. I was experiencing severe pain when running and doing the outdoor activities I love to do. I came to Dr. Allred for allergy treatments. Before my treatments I had several SEVERE food allergies that would cause my throat to swell. I had a dairy, egg, cashew and a few more. After finishing my 12 treatments I then went back to my allergist to re-test because I had suspected my allergies were gone but wanted to be sure and they WERE!!!! ALL OF THEM!!!! I was even treated for my pet allergy. What Dr. Allred does is amazing. Including the emotion work to balance the emotions which got rid of so many fears I had when it came to eating. I was beyond nervous going to a chiropractor. Dr. Allred has a quality that you don't find in many and that is, he's a great listener. He really wanted to hear where and what and how frequent my pain was. He targets the area and has you leaving feeling better, moving better and not dreading the next appointment. This chiropractor is great- he uses the adjustable table, massage table, and gave me exercises to do to maintain the adjustments made. The approval process with my insurance was easy. My only non-positive thought is that their equipment looks very worn out. Read more >
