This place is amazing, the 1.5 of nature trail up high in the mountains is a must.

Excellent ride and knowledgeable staff. I am experienced and my daughter was on her first ride. The trail was safe but enjoyable for both. We will be back.

Arrowmont Stables & Cabins is exactly what you dream a horse trail through the mountains would be! The staff was extremely friendly and respectful. The horses were well-trained and the trails were just beautiful. We will be going back!

Wonderful place to take a ride!

What can I say about Arrowmont. We started there about 10 years ago. Had a blast. Now we were on a budget so we stayed in the primitive cabins. Great time. The staff was amazing. From check in until we left they checked in on us every day to see if there was anything needed.

Nancy and Sonny (he will always be remembered) are amazing hosts.

It was a great place that had vacation cabins available also, but we we're fine with what we had. The rising staff was also great.

I just hope I can get out there again soon. Maybe a weekend get away with my wife.

Go there. ride the horses. Enjoy the creek. Sit back and enjoy the night air. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful, scenic and peaceful ride! Our guide was knowledgeable, helpful and patient making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Our 7 year son loved the experience and was kept safe the entire time (first time riding). 100% recommend for anyone and everyone.

Spent the past weekend at Arrowmont, had a great ride up and down the mountain to the valley. Well behaved horses. Josh was tuned in to the safety of the young riders with us. Very pleased with our cabin. The Sellars are great, let us back in the cabin very quickly after leaving key inside!!!! Centrally located you are about hour away from other ares of interest. I look forward to going again only for a longer stay. Truly Gods country. Thanks for the great memories.

Great experience for families and kids of all ages.

Everything about this experience was awesome! We did the walk, trot, canter tour. It was so much fun. If you’re tired of walking your horse slowly in a straight line, this is the one you want. The guides, property and the horses were great!

We had a great time! Even though it poured for the first part of the trip, it was still stunning views and well trained horses. The staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable! Highly recommend the drive to this place.

My niece and I went horseback riding here. It was great! Everyone was so nice, felt very safe and you could tell they take great care if he horses. Would recommend to everyone!!

We had our 2 grandchildren from PA visit us and horseback riding was on the bucket list. Our guide was Josh. He checked out everything for our grandchildren, as they had never ridden before. Josh was great and took very good care of us. He set us up with the gentles horses. While on the ride he watched the children to make sure everything was OK. He explained many things to us on the ride. I would highly recommend Arrowmont Stables.

Awesome family environment. My mom and I went together. Sonny and his wife are very kind and caring. The horses are very well trained and the ride was easy and beautiful. This was only my second time on a horse and it was great!

Just finished a lunch picnic horseback ride with my wife and mother in-law. A fantastic experience. Our guide Joshua was very knowledgeable and pleasent to be with. The scenery was beautiful. All in all we had a great time.

My husband and I spent the weekend in the queen cabin. The setting was so quiet and serene which is exactly what we were looking for. We went for a trail ride with Jessica and Mitchell who were excellent guides and very knowledgeable of what they were doing. We plan on coming back to stay!

Beautiful day on the trails with my family and our wonderful guide Josh, grandson of the owners. Highly recommend this family owned and operated horse stable! Gentle,well trained horses, and special treat, Tyson (the barn dog that thinks he is a horse) did the entire trail with us!!! All 6 miles!

My husband and I met our son and daughter in law from Virginia . Everyone was looking forward to a stress free long weekend. This place did not disappoint. We stayed in the king cabin. The view was so beautiful from the back porch . We were welcomed with a note at the gate coming in and again at our cabin. Ms. Nancy showed us how to light the fireplace which we used one night. We got to meet a couple of horses and woke our last morning to horses in the yard. Their dog also came to visit, so sweet. We did not want to leave.
It was a perfect weekend for a family get together, so much so, we booked again for fall. Thank you and your family being so kind to us.

Beautiful property, gorgeous horses, relaxing & enjoyable ride. The owner/guide is a really nice gentleman with interesting life stories! Well worth the time & money!
