My husband and I are both retired military with 32+ years active duty and 16 moves under our belt. This was our first move post military that we selected and paid for ourselves. We selected 495 Movers based on their in person estimate, good communication, follow up and positive social media reviews. By far, the BEST MOVE we ever had. Professional crew, good interpersonal skills, sought input on where to place items, excellent teamwork and great cleanup. Had nearly the same pack, load and delivery crews. Clean trucks. New boxes. Freshly washed and packed moving blankets. Would unequivocally recommend to anyone wanting a smooth move in a tight labor market!! Not the cheapest, but worth the peace of mind. Moving crew showed up on time, worked efficiently and diligently, and maintained a cordial and professional demeanor throughout.

495 Movers made my move less stressful then I imagined. They packed and loaded my belongings with care and efficiency. They safely stored my belongings for 6 weeks. Finally, they delivered my belongings with the same care and efficiency I initially experienced. The day of delivery was especially hot, yet the team persevered and carried in everything with some items having to travel up 3 flights of stairs! They never complained or seemed to slow down. Excellent and professional service. I was very skeptical at first because I’ve heard a lot about people having really bad moving experiences. The movers were very professional, efficient, and nice. They did a wonderful job moving my items from one state to another. Also, they even arranged my furniture in a beautiful way without my input.

The only downside with this company is that the sales agents can be a bit off putting because of the way that they communicate. Yet, don’t be afraid to use this company because they are excellent. I strongly recommend!!
