The team headed by Fred was efficient, professional ,polite and conscientious about keeping our costs down. They moved us out and in. We rent storage from 495 and have been pleased with their service and staff. We would recommend them to anyone and will call them for future services.

Moving is typically stressful, expensive, and not easy especially state to state moves. This was my third one and hands down my BEST one due to 495 Movers. The ENTIRE went smoothly from start to finish. Starting with Josh who was a pleasure to work with. He was straightforward with everything and truly focused on making my move as easy as possible. The price he quoted me was exactly the same the day of the move. Compared to other movers it was way more reasonable. Plus 495 Movers gives unlimited packing boxes and paper (you pick up at there warehouse) which was another big savings.

One of the biggest help was them packing my entire kitchen which was going to be a lot of me due to the short time frame of needing to move. Unfortunately, I don't recall the gentleman's name but he did a PHENOMENAL job packing my kitchen especially my delicate items that's been in the family...

I’ve used 495 Movers twice - once for an in-town move and most recently for an interstate move. In both cases the teams were excellent, the customer service was clear and proactive, and I also loved being able to pick up free packing materials when it was convenient for me. 495 did an amazing job on my move. From the start they were very start forward with communication and provided excellent service. They showed up right on time and quickly moved everything to the truck. Once we got at the destination. Unloaded and placed everything exactly where I wanted. Will us them again and recommend anyone moving to use them!

Our local move from the burbs into DC went perfectly. Our driver and his helper arrived a few minutes early at the storage location, we got loaded quite easily with the pre-packed items, and drove to our residence near Rockville to pick-up additional items. Most was already packed for moving, or new in a box, which saved time, but the few things that needed packing were done really well. The unloading in DC was also fine, though the apartment elevator was small. The biggest item, a long couch, wouldn't fit in the elevator, so up the stairs it went to the 6th floor with dispatch and no problems. I was impressed. They put everything right where we wanted and we were done a bit early meeting the minimum contract time with no overage. Making sure I was aware and comfortable with pricing before moving forward. My move team consisted of Milton, Juan, Jefferson, and George. They showed up, introduced themselves, completed a walkthrough and started packing. They got my move completed with no damages or loss. They handled my items with care. I thought that the move was bound to take longer than expected because I was moving into a 4 story stair carry townhome. I was very impressed with their work ethic and efficiency. Absolute stellar service ! I have heard the horror stories of moving companies demanding more money at the time of your furniture being delivered, that was NEVER a concern with 495 movers, everything is documented and confirmed by both parties leaving no room for surprises. Everyone I encountered in the process from start to finish ( Columbia, MD to Dunnellon , FL ) were absolute professionals and just down to earth nice people. My furniture was handled carefully , efficiently and everything arrived intact. I do not anticipate ever moving again but we all know how that goes lol, you can bet that it will always be 495 movers for me ♥

The movers were fantastic. They were a little late and the company is closed on Saturday so that gave me a brief scare, but they were coming from Maryland to DC. When they got there, they were quick and efficient with both the loading and the unloading. No dings or scratches and they provided their own packing supplies. Pricing was incredibly reasonable. Will book them again next time I move.

Our experience with 495 Movers was exceptional from beginning to end. We had a very last minute move. I filled out the form on the website and Dean called me about 20 minutes after I submitted my information. He was very upfront and transparent about the costs (an hourly rate) and told me I could come the next morning to pick up packing materials (which there are no additional costs — all included!). I went three times that week to pick up more materials (I didn’t quite realize just how much we would need), and the team there was so great and got us everything we needed. Dean got us scheduled with a full team 9 days later for the move, which was such a quick turn around and so appreciated. Autum at the office checked in via phone several throughout the week and during the move to make sure everything was going okay and to make sure we knew exactly what to expect. We needed 2 refrigerators, a washer/dryer and several large, heavy pieces moved. The crew arrived right on time, kept clear communication throughout, and were very careful not to damage any of our items or home. They even offered to leave us with moving supplies for our small boxed items. Very kind, and honest. Kept us to our quote & gave us a break on time. Keep cash for tips, you’ll want to give them. We will absolutely use this company if we move again in the future.

This team of young men did an amazing job. I thought my house was packed and they came in and packed more. They were pleasant, professional, and respectful.They were also very cautious and meticulous with my china cabinet. The other furniture was dismantled and wrapped with care. The furniture was all assembled and placed where needed at the new location. Extra insurance not really needed, they handled with care. I will definitely recommend and use them again. This was money well spent. Great job!
