Ten Mile Academy

We toured quite a few daycares, but Ten Mile Academy just kept sticking in our minds—and for good reason! The environment feels so welcoming - with music playing when you walk in and so many plants you feel like your in a green house. Safety is clearly a top priority, and the location and pricing were perfect for us too. The biggest highlight though is his teachers—we absolutely adore them! You can tell they truly care and love sharing milestones with the parents and that means everything to us.

We had a terrible experience here with our 4 year old. Teacher to kid ratios aren't monitored, especially with the before/after school program because they just pack all the kids together in one chaotic room. Our son was being bullied by a 6 year old, which took us demanding video footage to witness him getting punched in the face and stomach repeatedly with no teacher in sight... The Director Brandi's response to the incident was that the 6 year old has autism and that she'll just have to let the parents know to up his meds...? She then told us our son definitely has ADHD and is going to struggle in Kindergarten and needs therapy... After confronting Brandi with our confusion and concerns, she started yelling at my wife and I in her office saying we put words in her mouth and she would never "diagnose a child"... We had to contact Brandi's supervisors and pulled our son...

Ten mile Academy is a great place! Teachers are kind and loving and the environment feels warm and cozy from the beginning. You can see how much the teachers love the kids. The curriculum is structured and in depth. My kids have learned so much there and can’t wait to go inside as soon as we pull up. They are kind and professional and the quality and cleanliness is amazing!

We absolutely love this daycare! The teachers are so kind and patient and really care about the kids. On days when my kiddo is having a rough time, they take the time to listen, comfort them, and help them feel better, which means everything to us.
The environment is safe, welcoming, and fun, and communication is always great. We feel totally confident leaving our child here and are so thankful for the care they provide. Highly recommend!

I really like ten mile academy. It's a great place the facility is nice and they have a good number of kids in the class room. The director has lots of activities and the teachers in the class are really genuinely caring for your kids. They communicate well amd they have reasonable prices.

What a wonderful amazing school.just love the staff and my daughter loves it as well. I feel very safe dropping her off everyday here highly recommended 👌

Right from the start, we experienced the same chaotic atmosphere that many other 1‑star reviews mention. At one point, I even tripped over a child’s coat that had been left in the walkway as we exited the 2s room (I was also carrying my child). We felt like an inconvenience from the moment we walked in. If staff are curt and rude to me in front of my child, that’s an immediate sign this isn’t the place for us.
It was also uncomfortable having a full conversation about enrollment in the 2s classroom while the children were trying to eat breakfast.
What concerned me most, though, was what happened as a field trip group was leaving. The director suddenly yelled to one of the staff members, “Did he get his medication?” She then opened the top drawer of her desk, which was filled with multiple medication bottles. She opened it, grabbed one, left the bottle and ran out to the...

Not a very safe place to take your children we did a tour and there were children running all over the place unattended some had saggy soiled pull-ups or diapers on that or had accidents and weren't cleaned up. They were kids crying in the corners telling the stuff that they were hungry. Other children were slapping biting and hitting others. Way too many children and not enough staff to do their jobs and pay attention. I would definitely not take your children here.

Over priced under staffed and too many kids!
