The Goddard School - Spring Garden, Philadelphia

I love the Goddard school - Spring Garden. My daughter has been there since she was three months olds. She’s now a year in a half. The teachers there are amazing! Very nurturing, caring, hand ons, understanding and patient. I trust them with my daughter.She loves coming to school to be with her teachers and friends and is learning so much! Thank you Goddard for everything!!!

We have had a wonderful experience at The Goddard School – Fairmount. My child truly loves going to school each day, which says a lot about the warm and nurturing environment they’ve created. The teachers are incredibly caring and make a genuine effort to know every child by name, from infants through preschool. It really shows how invested they are in the children as individuals.

One of my favorite parts of this school is the level of security and transparency. I appreciate that I’m able to stop in at any time to check on my child, and I feel confident knowing the facility is safe and well-monitored.

I also love that the school is becoming more diverse, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for families from all backgrounds. While there were times in the past when staff turnover was noticeable, that has improved significantly, and the consistency...

We have had 3 kids at Goddard, and have been so happy with our experience! The teachers are so patient and kind, they have clearly invested time into getting to know what kids (even when they’re not the primary teacher for the room). I have seen they grow so much - particularly grateful for support in starting solids, potty training support, and launching my oldest into kindergarten! Our teachers are like family to us. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

We love the Goddard on Spring Garden in Philadelphia. The staff is so kind and caring, can’t say enough about them. The teachers are always engaging the kids with different exercises and demonstrations to help them learn. Our daughter loves going to school and continues to surprise us with how much she learns from her teachers and classmates.

I was very nervous to put my 3 month old in daycare, but being at Goddard Spring Garden has been excellent for her growth. She loves her teachers Ms Angie and Ms Diamond and I personally love what a nice, caring, fun, educational community it is!

Love our teachers. Ms Khadijah and Ms Aynisha are wonderful. Our child LOVES Ms Aynisha- she is so incredibly patient and kind and goes above and beyond to take care of our child.

This was our first time putting our almost 3-year-old in daycare and I can’t say enough good things about the Goddard school. They truly make you feel like family and care about each and every child as if they’re their own. They nurtured my son‘s curiosity through educational projects and helped to develop his confidence. I love listening to his Stories about his day when he comes home from school!

Just moved out of state and we are so sad to no longer be at Goddard Spring Garden. They have been so nurturing and supportive, and our children have thrived there. Turnover is inevitable at any school, however they managed to retain two of the most fantastic teachers for the entire year my son was in the “twos” classroom and we feel so lucky to have worked with them. Admin was always extremely responsive and communicative whenever there were concerns. We wish we could have kept the kids there forever, we’ll miss everyone there so much!
*as an aside, the outdoor space is amazing and such a rarity to have right in the city!!

The Goddard school on Spring Garden is the absolute best care for our children. We have been there for two years and are extremely happy with our choice. As educators, we care deeply about our children learning age appropriate skills, academically, emotionally and socially; Goddard provides that and more. The community of teachers and staff are exceptional. We know our children are loved. We have also made lasting friendships with families. The care and education our children receive here is well worth it!
