When I first contacted SPWL, I was impressed by their training program and the fact that Emma, had a service dog of her own.
After talking with Gary, we drove to see if a puppy would choose me. I’m a brittle diabetic and my service dog Shelby had passed at 12yo in Aug.
I brought samples of my scent at high, low and normal and one puppy was drawn to my scent more than the others.
Unfortunately, she wasn’t old enough to be temperament tested beforehand and when she was tested a week later, she didn’t pass. She wasn’t food motivated. Via FaceTime, we were shown 3 more puppies that had passed the temperament test and we picked Riley!
She stayed at SPWL until she was 6 months old, training and learning what her job would be, a diabetic alert/PTSD service dog.

We have had a great experience with SPL! From the very beginning and continuing through the several weeks after we brought our puppy home, we had great communication and support. The baseline training our puppy received from SPL provided an excellent foundation that we were able to easily reinforce and build on. Our lab is such a pretty girl with a wonderful temperment - her days are a busy mix of spunky and curious, balanced with chill time and lots of cuddles. We highly recommend SPL and wouldn’t hesitate to return to them in the future.

We now have purchased two golden retrievers from snowy pines (Blu and Mya) and couldn’t be happier. The communication and education they give to new clients is top notch. The expert training and care they give to their pups is unmatched. We adore our fur babies and would highly recommend this amazing breeder and training facility.

I had a wonderful experience with Snowy Pines. I spoke with Gary multiple times early on, and each conversation was thoughtful, kind, and focused on making the right match.

As a first-time dog owner, I’ve really appreciated the continued support from the trainers, particularly Chloe, who has been consistently patient, knowledgeable, and generous with her guidance.

Everyone at Snowy Pines has been truly kind, and they did an excellent job matching me with the right dog. Friends and family who have met Ranger regularly comment on his temperament and training, which speaks volumes about the care and intention behind their program. We are absolutely blessed to be a part of the Snowy Pines family… 3 times! Dixie, Daisy, and Gracie -All so beautiful and each with their own fun, loving personalities. We cannot go on a walk without being stopped by people telling us how gorgeous our girls are. However, they are more than just a pretty face, they are smart and have been so easy to train. Our pups were well socialized by the time they came home from Snowy Pines and were ready for any adventure we took them on…. from the beach to the woods!
From the moment we inquired about Snowy Pines White Labs, we were welcomed with open arms and great communication. Gary was available to answer any questions we had. We opted to take our first puppy home at 8 weeks and used the nanny service to fly with her home. Our next two puppies stayed for college training.
