Shine Villas

The home itself is beautiful. It worked for our purposes. There were a few issues like a sink not draining and I received very quick response from the company. The listing should be updated. There were only three chairs at the outside table and four loungers. We’ve stayed at plenty of VRBOs and this was definitely not a “fully stocked” kitchen. Sleeps 18, but only had four cereal size bowls. We also had to wash silverware after every meal (there were 8 of us). Just note it says 8 or 9 miles to the parks but it’s the longest 8 miles! Some days taking an hour to get there and an hour to get back due to traffic. The home is in need of a new carpet and a paint job upstairs. We asked for the pool to be heated and it definitely was ready to go upon arrival. The hot tub was a very nice perk! We did use the pool at the resort but note there is an extra fee for your stay. Overall, I was pleased with the home. Only downside was we were using it as overflow for a conference and needed more parking than it could handle. Prior to booking the house, I inquired into the parking situation and was informed we could park on the street as long as we observed any posted signs. There were no signs posted and we carefully parked between the driveways to ensure we didn’t impact anyone. It didn’t matter because the security guard was there within 1/2 hour and said we had to move the vehicle off the street. Ended up filling the driveway and completely blocking the sidewalk which makes much less sense. Read more >
