Our A/C system went on the fritz. No matter how long the unit ran, it could not bring the temperature down to the level we had set. Days were very hot, and nights were steamy. Unfortunately, my wife and I had covid so the company could not come for repairs as quickly as they wanted. Once we were out of quarantine, a visit was scheduled, and the technician showed up right on time. He listened! I told him that I had been a troubleman for a power company. Though I didn't know much about A/C work, I did know what the problem might be. We had experienced a similar problem with another company, so I thought he might want to start addressing that issue. Instead of ignoring my suggestion, he made it the first thing he looked at. And wouldn't you know it, that was the issue. He addressed it. He fixed it.
