Our A/C system went on the fritz. No matter how long the unit ran, it could not bring the temperature down to the level we had set. Days were very hot, and nights were steamy. Unfortunately, my wife and I had covid so the company could not come for repairs as quickly as they wanted. Once we were out of quarantine, a visit was scheduled, and the technician showed up right on time. He listened! I told him that I had been a troubleman for a power company. Though I didn't know much about A/C work, I did know what the problem might be. We had experienced a similar problem with another company, so I thought he might want to start addressing that issue. Instead of ignoring my suggestion, he made it the first thing he looked at. And wouldn't you know it, that was the issue. He addressed it. He fixed it. In February I called Rocky Top Air, Inc. (which apparently operates under the name On Hour Heating and Air as well) and requested a visit and quote regarding upgrading/updating the three water heaters in my home. When I called, I explained that a TVA energy audit inspector had identified my old electric water heaters as good candidates for upgrades that would decrease my utility bills. I explained that I wanted someone knowledgeable on water heaters to look at the configuration of my house and give me a recommendation and pricing for installation of new water heaters.
At the scheduled appointment, I took off work and met with the two employees from Rocky Top Air that arrived at my home. Will never use them again. Just it took them 6 weeks to get a part in. This was winter. Part finally comes in. The technician wires the new part in but he did it incorrectly which burned out two thermostats. It left me in 25 degree weather for 2 weeks. Never again.

Had plumbing work done. Very happy with the technician and quality of work
