This is the second time that I have requested Residential Express Heating & Air to provide a second opinion on another American Home Shield Warranty assigned HVAC company's dire assessment of the need to replace my aging HVAC system. This time I was told by the other HVAC company that my heat exchanger was "probably" cracked because of visual rust. Recommendation was to replace the HVAC. The Residential tech, David, recommended a more definitive approach - a combustion analysis. The analysis wasn't inexpensive but exponentially less expensive than replacing the entire HVAC. Fortunately, the test showed that the heat exchanger was not cracked and the HVAC was running fine. Just another example of why Residential consistently gets 5 stars on their reviews.

First time using RES (Residential Express Heating & Air Conditioning: Arrived w/n time frame, called 20 minutes before arrival, pleasant, courteous, professional, respectful, patient with my questions. Thorough and clean. Also, the tech (Robert), identified a faulty defrost device and replaced it the next day - fortunately, two days before Winter Advisory and one inch of snow. We signed up for the winter and summer inspection/maintenance program.
