Wanted to review the deck project that was completed back in December by Outback Deck Atlanta. While our house was being repainted, our painters pointed out that we had a problem with the posts on our porch that supported the master bathroom directly above. After hiring a structural engineering to come out and make recommendations, we discovered that Brock (builder) had taken major shortcuts when building our deck.

We learned that since prior to 2007 no deck code existed, Brock was able to pretty much throw together decks that looked good from the outside but were not structurally sound. Had we not taken immediate action we could've had major problems on our hands. Underneath the decorative posts (commonly found throughout homes in our neighborhood) were undersized and in one case, completely inadequate supports (2 2" x 4" boards) that were simply sitting on...

Having completely renovated two houses here in Atlanta area, I have used many companies. Outback did a fantastic job from design, to accurate quoting, to build out and into completion. The same foreman was at my job daily and had great communication. The additions/changes I made to the project were explained in detail for duration, cost, and construction considerations. I will be using them again when it is time for my next project!

We had our deck to the house and around our pool replaced last summer. Our foreman for the project was Chris Moore. He was wonderful and listened to everything we needed and the project was executed flawlessly. We have done business with this company in the past and have been completely satisfied. We had an outstanding experience with Outback Deck. Our 25 year old deck on a deeply slopping backyard needed complete replacement. Bryan came up with a dynamite design. We wanted real wood despite the extra maintenance and Bryan recommended kiln dried pine. After staining it was beautiful. We had them come back to re-stain two years later. During the project there were a few surprises that projects like this often have; the revised price was reasonable given what had to be done. This deck is so solid that it will probably outlast the house! Thanks Team!!

Our experience with Outback Deck was fantastic! From the initial consultation to the finished product, we were kept in touch with and never felt they were taking too long. The crews were on time every day and very friendly. Yes, the quote was higher than others, but it's the quality that counts. We have an incredible deck that will last for many, many years thanks to them. I would recommend them and plan on using them again in the future for other projects.
