As the expression goes, sometimes (most of the time?) you get what you pay for! Before telling the back story, let me start out by highlighting that Outback did an excellent job and we are extremely happy with our new TimberTech deck. Bobby, our project manager, was terrific. He was very flexible and highly responsive -- he almost always replied to my numerous texts within an hour or two. The work crews were very professional and very fast -- the vast majority of our project was completed in about 5 days!

Now the quick back story -- I originally got quotes from 4 different companies, including Outback. One of the companies offered what seemed to be a similar scope at a much lower price. They suggested I would be fine without a city permit, but that if I wanted one, they could manage that for an extra $1,000. We ended up deciding we wouldn't feel comfortable without a...

They did a great job, coming in with good ideas beyond what I had originally thought to do, with a friendly, highly competent and efficient crew. They did exactly what I was hoping for, working long hours each day, but knocking it out in two days.

We recently had an issue that required extensive and complex work, including foundation and structural support and framing, and Outback was phenomenal throughout the process. They were professional, and the project manager did a great job of overseeing the work. Everything was done within budget. I've used them twice, and have been satisfied each time. I'm happy to recommend Outback to anyone who is looking for quality work.

From the first meeting with Bryan I had a good feeling and was not disappointed. This was not a large project, still it was given all the attention needed. Bryan, Kris and Ken and the whole crew did a fantastic job and finished on time. There are a few more projects on my list and I will surely be back.

Outback Deck exceeded my expetactions in all aspects starting from the initial sales visit, Bill Partridge was able to answer all my questions, was on time and was willing to work with me and help guide me with solutions about my new deck. Chris Moore the project manager kept me updated almost daily and let me know what crew was working and what to expect would be done that day. He also troubledshot issues we had with the deck boards and worked with the manufacture to resole the issue quickly and without delay. Eliseo Gonzalez and his crew of 3 others had amazing skills and their attention to details was first rate. Routing the 2x10 rim board so the joist hanger that nailed into it would not rise up and cause the facia board to be wavy was an unexpected detail that the crew did that you will not find.
