Because we actually enjoy the final product, I’m giving this 2 stars. I also want to start off by saying Outback Decks Owner was going to agree to waive a bunch of added costs in the end if we agreed to NOT post a negative review on here. We were so offended we paid the extra costs immediately and I’ve waited a number of months before leaving this review. I still have a lot of negative things to say about their operations and their used car salesman approach to doing business.
From the start, where they refused to give us itemized cost breakdowns, I didn’t feel good about this company. My husband decided to proceed with doing our deck project with them despite the total being way more than other estimates we got because their engineers and designers were solid (the best part of the whole company…they were great).
