Expert Pool Builders (Indiana)

I wouldn’t of even gave them one star but in order to finish this survey I had to choose one. Do yourself a favor and use someone else.

We are very happy with Expert Pools. Even after the fact I can contact Greg, and he is always responsive and willing to help us!

Zero project management and weak contractors utilized. Be prepared to manage this project yourself and learn how to install/properly glue 1,1/4” pvc piping. Also learn how to leak test your piping work before burying it in the ground and pouring new concrete on top of it. “Expert” pool builders failed to do this and resulted in a pool leak. My experience with “Expert” pool builders temporarily motivated me to start my own pool installation company, since I had to learn how to finish every single aspect of the project. Be sure to think thru your pool ground water sump system. Mine could have easily been gravity drained, had an “Expert” Pool Builder taken 5 minutes to think about it. Instead, I now have a system that requires a sump pump and garden hose, along with some scheduled maintenance after heavy rains. If I could rate zero Stars, I would still be dis-satisfied....

Greg did a fabulous job selling and was a great project manager at the start of the install. As business picked up, you could tell that he was incredibly busy as he was not able to be as attentive. We love our pool, our disappointment was in several of the contractors hired. The excavator placed the pool a foot higher than we asked and three feet off in placement. The concrete is not level around the pool, there is one spot that is very obvious and the pool cover installation worker was nothing short of obnoxious. He had a swearing meltdown in our back yard. When you pay for something this expensive you expect reputable contractors that are professional. We didn’t seem to get either.

Matt and his team were very accommodating and easy to work with.
One thing I must mention is that the pool dimensions which are used when negotiating are shipping dimensions. Your pool will not be the size you are quoted. Again they sell you on shipping dimensions not actual size of pool. I think it is fair to say that you lose 18 inches in length and 18 inches in width when the pool is installed. When I questioned this because I purchased a 15 by 30 pool and came up a great deal short, I was told by the owner we install pools we do not manufacture or them. So in all fairness the the size pool they quoted me is not what I received. Before you purchase a pool from Expert be sure to get the true measurements before you sign the contract otherwise you may come up short!

They installed a large pool and did an e cell Ent job and the owner was very fair to work with on changes or problems. Highly recommend over other companies I got pricing from. Stayed to price and deliver quality product
