When my dad passed away I inherited two pairs of HGU-4/P sunglasses, one by AO and one by Welsh, from his time flying patrol planes in the Navy in the 1950s and 60s. On one pair the ear piece plastic had fallen apart from age, and the other had a chipped lens. No one in my area would attempt to repair them, but they were eager to sell me a new pair. Northwest Frame Repair was able replace the aged plastic "bayonet" pieces on both pairs, clean the frames and replace the lenses on the chipped pair, and return the original lenses to keep as backups. Their work was good and their prices for that work very reasonable. Now, instead of mementos relegated to a drawer, I have useable keepsakes that remind me of my dad every time I wear them. Thank you Northwest Frame Repair.
