Northwest Frame Repair

Northwest Frame Repair is the BEST! I was given a pair of 1930's eyeglasses that belinged to my grandmother. They had been stored for 50 years in a house full of smokers and the fames were filthy. Also, one temple piece (the hook part that goes over the ear) was broken and swiveled loose. Northwest Frame Repair fixed the broken ear piece so well I had to hunt to find it, and the frames sparkled! I have them on display with a portrait of her wearing them. I never got to meet her, but seeing her with her glasses makes me feel like we share something, because I wear glasses too.

The hinge on my prescription sunglasses was broken & my optometrist referred me to Northwest Frame Repair, two blocks east from their office. Being sun-sensitive, I depend on my sunglasses for driving, so I stopped in & was greeted with a smile by the office manager. She said they could most likely fix them if I had a few minutes to spare. While waiting in their comfortable, laid-back atmosphere, listening to background music, I learned they make all the custom frames they had on display there, & they also fix broken frames sent in from businesses everywhere.

In less than fifteen, my sunglasses were fixed. I thanked them for promptly helping me, paid a small fee, & was on my way. I am going to look here first when it's time for new glasses as these folks make creative, customized frames of all kinds. Only your imagination will limit your choices.

I am absolutely amazed by the work done on my glasses! I have a pair of glasses that the entire frame is Swarovski crystals and it’s so hard to find someone where I am located that isn’t afraid to touch them for fear of breaking them. I went to the place where I bought them and was given Northwest Frame Repair’s information. It was a quick process to reach out and ask if they could help me. I was happy when I got a response back saying they could help so I shipped them off (praying they made it in one piece the entire time lol) and it wasn’t long before I got my estimate and approved the work. I just got them back today and they look brand new! I had two crystals replaced as well as the nose pieces and had them tightened and cleaned. Thank you so much for restoring my favorite glasses back to brand new! I am a repeat customer for sure!

While cleaning out boxes of old memories, I found a 50 year old pair of Navy aviator glasses that belonged to my pilot father! One lens was cracked in half. I googled and eventually found Northwest Frame Repair. I called, found the website and had the lenses replaced. Northwest was a treat to work with. Every time I have my aviators on, I think of my dad and how he served the USA. Go Navy, beat Army!
