They assured me that it could be repaired. I sent the frame re the clear instructions on their website, and they responded soon after with an assessment and estimate for repair, as well as shipping options to return. I called and asked if the job could be expedited as my wife was traveling in a few days. They completed the repair that afternoon and it was in the mail the next day.

The repaired temple on the sunglasses looks great. They inserted two small metal bands or braces across the fracture site, filled and smoothed the plastic material so it is nearly invisible to all but close inspection. I had a very precious pair of eyeglass (vintage from the 80s, highly sentimental) that had broken at the hinge years ago. I searched all over NY for a place that could fix them, to no avail. When I found Northwest, I was ecstatic to hear that they offered the service, but was nervous since the frames couldn’t be replaced. I took the risk, though, and sent the glasses to them, fingers crossed.
