Nexgen replaced all my windows and a sliding glass door with the Marvin Infinity (fiberglass) model.
The crew kept the inside of the house very clean but made a big mess outside. They used a Sawzall to remove the old vinyl windows and now I have tiny vinyl pieces scattered all over my yard and mulch with no easy to way to clean it up. The caulking is a big part of the finish quality for this kind of window replacement job; unfortunately, there were a few windows with sloppy caulking.
A few of the windows have a grey foam tape sticking out of the corners. The installation crew said that this tape was used the manufacturing process and that I could trim it out if I wanted (which isn’t really my job). I tried that, but there is still a gap in the frame with the tape visible inside. The sliding glass door was expensive, but the quality doesn’t match the...
