Nex-Gen Windows & Doors

We had our new Infinity windows installed with the black exterior and they look fantastic! NexGEN has been on top of everything from the point of sale to scheduling the install, to the project manager. The owner even came out to our job. This is definitely the right window company to do your install.

Windows are not square/level. Pointed out to inspector, acknowledged but their installer just ignored the raised issue.
Windows have foam all over sill, and caulking is so thin you can see through the gap. Foam is on carpet, and Bathtub where you can clearly see a shoe print, Windows went in just after the brand new carpet.
Windows pressure between panes is over/under pressure, reflections in the window are double, and looking outside has distortions.
Window put and not properly cut/trimmed, the middle of the window is closed while both corners have gaps.

Stay away, massive regret choosing this company, poor install, poor quality windows.

From the sale of the windows to the installation of the windows went great. When it came time for installation they showed up on time and kept everything cleaned up as they worked. Didn't track any unwanted debris in from outside. They helped reduce the air leakage. Would recommend them if you are looking for new windows.

Good people providing good service while selling, installing and servicing good windows at a good price. Everyone I had contact with deserves kudos among whom were the installers Eduardo and Noah and a special shout out to Mike DeYoung, the service tech, for service above and beyond. The only administrative glitch was with a loan I received but didn’t get any info or papers to sign, so I paid with a credit card but wish there had been a better way to pay without maxing out my card. Glitch aside, the Marvin Infinity windows are wonderful and Nex-Gen is top notch.

Of the three bids we received, Next Gen was the most affordable and importantly, the most responsive. They replaced our front door and 5 upstairs windows in less than a day. They explained their process and made sure we understood what to expect. The install crew were all very nice and courteous. It was impressive how careful they were to vacuum and make sure dust was kept to a minimum. We’re very pleased with the results and love our new front door.

I am not totally satisfied with the installation. Though I loved the installers themselves..they were polite and personable, the results were less than professional. First, the window is not plumb and flush in the opening. I had to file down the trim in one spot to make it flush to the wall. I pointed this out to the installer but he had already screwed in the window at that point and didn't want to fix it. Second, there is a huge, messy caulk line all around the window. Instead of tooling the caulk after gunning it in, he put scotch tape on either side. The result is a messy, too high and bumpy textured caulk that overlaps the trim in places. I don't know how I can paint the trim without running paint into the caulk line. There is way too much caulk. And why is there such a big gap between the window and trim in the first place???My other windows don't have that. The only way I can...

They came in with a fair bid, did a good job with quick installation and made things right with a small mess that was left after installation. Definitely recommend them to others
