The doctor and the staff were so helpful, knowledgeable and kind. My cat and I agree that it was a wonderful visit.

Had a great first visit with Montclair Veterinary Associates. Calling to set up the appointment was a breeze, they took care of getting charts from a prior vet and upon arrival Tyler in reception greeted me and my cat by name. The office was just remodeled, is very clean, and has convenient parking. Our time with Dr Waxman was not rushed, he clearly listened to what was going on, examined our cat for physical symptoms, etc asked follow up questions and talked through a few different options to help with a behavioral issue. We plan on bringing our dog here too going forward.

I adore everyone who works at this office. We followed Dr. Waxman, Jim & Tyler from Jersey City to their new office bc we loved how they cared for our young cat when he was having kidney issues earlier this year. They were very patient & thorough with us. & now my cat is healthy again thanks to their care! I couldn’t be happier, truly.

My kitty Cordelia is immunocomprimised and has been in desperate need of a dental procedure and I was able to get an appointment at M.V.A - I am thrilled and my cat is doing terrific. The office is beautiful, Staff is extremely Professional and experienced and they went above and beyond to make sure that my girl Cordelia got top of the echelon care. Can't wait to bring my other pets here!!!!!! If I could give a 10 star rating I would.

It’s been about a year or two since my senior maltese started seeing Dr. Waxman, Dr. Jim, and Tyler in Jersey City. They provide such great services that we followed them to Montclair Veterinary Associates, and it’s so worth it.

Their facility is VERY clean and spacious, with a huge parking lot (so convenient). All of their staff is knowledgeable, and empathetic. They are so considerate in explaining every detail with regard to my pet’s health, and keeping me calm as a dog mom.

With regard to price - they provide estimates before proceeding with any meds/tests/etc. Dr. Waxman has been great in accommodating to my financials by providing alternative health care plans/explaining to me what care I should prioritize. (My senior doesn’t qualify for pet insurance due to his age.)

I've been with this team since 2018 when they had a Senate Place Jersey City location. I was happy to hear that their new location would be in Montclair which is closer to me. The staff has always been kind, detailed, understanding, and thorough with my dog (an 11 year old golden retriever named Milo). They also have had a holistic approach to Milo's care as he went from a spunky young dog to a senior dog. Milo loves the staff, and I'm glad I was able to find this team and stay with them as long as I have. I always trust and feel that Milo is in great hands.
