Updated: This is overdue. But I can't say enough about Dr Waxman, Tyler and the entire team. Our beloved Sophie passed while my daughter was home alone and we were in California. To say they went above and beyond is a huge understatement. We will be eternally grateful for their deep care and compassion. We are moving to the city and can only hope to find an office that is as thorough, caring, and warm as Montclair Vetrinary.

Amazing staff! They went above and beyond. Got us in right away. Did all the work to get records from past vets. Upfront about pricing. Welcoming and very clean atmosphere.

Wonderful experience at Montclair Veterinary Associates! The entire staff was warm and patient with my slightly nervous pup. Dr. Waxman was kind, thorough, and took the time to answer all my new-puppy-parent questions. The clinic has a great overall vibe, and I really appreciate the convenient parking and accommodating hours.

As someone who’s worked as a vet tech for many years, I truly appreciate how thorough and heartfelt Dr. Waxman’s approach is. He clearly cares deeply for both his patients and their humans.

The techs were also fantastic, very detailed in their history taking and genuinely curious to understand what was going on. The facility is clean, beautiful, and welcoming. I highly recommend this practice!

As the owner of an anxious dog who is somewhat new to the area/state, I felt a bit anxious myself to try a new vet. Staff has such a generous and sincere manner. My girl is very nervous and working on reactivity. Appointments have been very difficult and distressing for us both in the past/prior to moving but Montclair Veterinary Associates has always listened to our needs and provided thorough, careful, and stress free service.

Dr. Waxman educates thoroughly and answers questions fully. So rare, we have never had a doctor like him before. I feel empowered by our visits. Jo, Jim, and Tyler treat us like family even if we are sort of new faces. Just good people.

We would recommend to any pet families in Montclair but most especially if your pup is anxious or nervous at the vet!

I can't say enough good things about Montclair Veterinary Associates! The entire team is compassionate, professional, and truly dedicated to the well-being of animals. From the moment my mother walked in with her baby, she felt welcomed and supported.

The entire team took the time to thoroughly explain everything about my mom's cat (toby) condition and treatment options, she never felt rushed or overwhelmed.

The staff is responsive, the clinic is clean and well-organized, and they clearly go above and beyond for both pets and their owners. It's such a relief to know that our furry family member is in such capable hands.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for knowledgeable, trustworthy, and truly caring veterinary care!
