My therapist resolved my pain by correcting my posture and releasing tight muscles, which a medical doctor never did. I loved my therapist because she showed me on her ipad what she was doing. She responded to all the pain I had. I didn't know until the end of my treatment that she researched on her own time how best to treat me. Even though I still have some pain (I have fibromyalgia), I am able to swim, teach water exercise and bike like I used to before I was treated. I would highly recommend Manual Physical Therapy. I tried other physical therapy before a friend recommended MPT. It was useless.

I have been suffering with hip pain for many years. I follow all the instructions from my doctors. I got shots, did many sessions of physical therapy. Ending with a left hip replacement in 2017. Things didn't go well and I had to have it redone 6 weeks later. I and longer period of recovery I did physical therapy again. It helped but I ran out of appointments. I tried to continue on my own and made some progress but I still had pain in my left hip. I was getting depressed and I called the surgeon to see what can be done. The x-rays showed it to be muscular and the AP suggest Manual Physical Therapy and told me that she thought they would be the best place for my problem. Manual Physical Therapy was recommended to me by a pain management doctor. I had already scheduled a consult with a surgeon for severe nerve pain. After my first visit I knew I was in good hands. I canceled my surgeon consult, stopped any meds, and continued my appointments with Manual Therapy. In a matter of weeks, I was out of pain. One year later, I can take care of myself so I am not a slave to appointment after appointment. This place has made me pain free, put me back to work, and gave me the confidence to (follow instructions) take care of myself with simple exercises every day so I stay pain free.

I had problems with my hip. It hurt to move, to turn over in bed, to get in the car, get out of the car, etc. I'd had this problem for 3 years. I went to Manual Physical Therapy, and after the first visit, I noticed a difference in the pain level. After my treatment was finished, my pain had gone from a 10 to about a 3. They showed me exercises to do to help, and they really do work. I try to do them daily, but when I notice my pain level rising, I do the exercises! This is the best place for getting your life back. Manual Physical Therapy is not like the usual physical therapy...it's more of a hands on manipulation. I love them!

I was referred to Joann Pung by my Orthopedic Spine Surgeon in an effort to control pain in my back. I have been to many PTs over the years and they were all pretty much the same and provided little pain relief. Joann is very different from all the others. Her hands-on approach is different than anything I had previously experienced. After a few visits she had focused on specific issues relating to my pain and 'worked them' with great results. She taught me how to treat myself successfully. I highly recommend her for back pain issues.

Kind, caring and knowledgeable. I always hated physical therapy and thought it to be a waste of time until I have been experiencing the one on one therapy applications here. In a short time I could tell the difference with my pain level and mobility. The facility is very clean and well maintained as well as a calming decor.

Prior to Joanne , I had been to two famous neurosurgeons who told me the degenerative nature of my disease made me untreatable. I had been through multiple rounds of PT , chiropractic and spinal injections. Over a ten year period, I had spent about four months on bed rest. After one round of therapy with Joanne, I was walking and biking and had no periods of incapacitation. About 18 months later as some symptoms returned, I returned to Joaane and she worked with my wife and my massage therapist to assure long term recovery. Two plus years later, I am walking , biking and swimming and have had no periods of incapacitation. Joanne certainly fits my definition of a "miracle cure". This is the healthiest I have been since 2005 when my symptoms first became debilitating.

I was referred to Manual Physical Therapy by my rheumatologist. I have had PT in past years in Bradenton and was not impressed. They had one large room filled with equipment and clients!! I would be assigned an exercise and then left alone for about 10 minutes!
When I walked into Manual Physical Therapy, I was very impressed with the office! It was bright and very clean! The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly! I was assigned to Susana. She began by getting to know me and my history. Susana was very knowledgable and able to answer my many questions! Having one on one physical therapy was an amazing experience! I began to feel the positive effects within days!
