I am in the process of legalizing the basement and attic floors of my home. In order for this to be approved by the building department, it is necessary to have egress windows installed. The windows have openings that allows people to escape in the event of a fire. The most difficult part of this process was being told that the installation of a basement egress window means that a hole more then 4-5 feet deep has to be dug into the ground. When I called Egress Pros, I was immediately greeted by such a friendly person named Randy who made this process seem so simple. He indicated that his company installs hundreds of windows and digs underground pits on a daily basis, at least 100 times per month. The guys from Egress Pros came to my house yesterday and did a fantastic job putting in my window. Miguel and his merry men were professional, neat, respectful, and courteous. They left the interior cleaner than it was before they got there! I am so glad I finally decided to put in this window since I’ve been thinking about it for years. Now I‘m happy that my kids will be safe in the basement should there ever be an emergency.
