Lillian Homes

I see a lot of negative reviews regarding Lillian Homes. I wanted to share that I've experienced great service as it pertained to warranty work. Throughout the warranty period anything needing addressed was done in a timely manner and the warranty specialist followed up to insure the work was done to my satisfaction. In fact, just prior to my warranty expiring, I had the home inspected and found 9 items needing attention or review. Rudy (Lillian Warranty Specialist) was "Johnny on the spot"! All of items were reviewed and corrected within a month.

Poor customer service. No one calls you back. Don't waste your time and money with Lillian Custom Homes.

1 star is way more than they deserve. We signed contract in mid-December 2020. We took off of work to go to the design center and home pro. We only went to those appointments because I would follow up with them. They tried changing things on us so many times and tried to get us to sign for things we didn't select. They didn't have much selection at the design center. I kept following up with them and in the end of May they decide to write us an email with a pre-dated letter saying we had until the end of the week to respond whether we wanted to pay $100,000 "surcharge fee" or cancel. We never signed anything nor agreed to cancel. They sent us our money back. They tried to only refund us the money we paid at the design center (about $3k). AND wanted to charge us an administration fee for canceling when we didn't cancel. They ended up refunding us every penny. WORST and MOST...

Under no circumstances should you pay for their wood look tile. They will promise you 1/8" grout lines like they have in their model homes but will leave you high and dry with trashy looking 1/4" grout lines. You will get a home with very poor attention to detail and chips all over your granite counter tops. They will also incorporate planting trees in to the cost of your house but will not replace the ones that are dead by the time you close. EDIT: In response to Lillian's response, I have email traffic between myself and the salesman where I raised my displeasure with the wood like tile repeatedly. Your design center representative told me the tile would have the smallest grout lines possible "just like the model home." Why have a model home if you won't build your houses the same way? Ultimately, I was in a position where delaying closing would start...

This builder is immoral and unethical. Stay far away!

There is nothing "custom" about these homes. They're a tract home builder. I was assured by everyone I talked to at Lillian that they don't build the same houses next to each other, or even the same color house of a different model. I bought in phase 1, and now they're finishing up phase 2. We now have 4 new houses in our cul de sac, and only 2 floor plans and elevations. They also pick and choose what warranty claims they want to fix (all claims submitted were covered under the warranty). The company is a joke, and you'll never talk to the same person twice due to high turnover.

Update 7/12/2021: Had to attempt to sue Lillian. Their lawyer and the owner, George Salvador, are slimebags. And don't pay any attention to their response to this review. I've attempted to work with them multiple times. Do yourself a favor and find another builder.

We had such a bad experience with Lillian Custom Homes. Terrible customer service. We were on hold for so long after signing the contract . Our sales representative was not giving us any answers, they never started building our house. They asked us to add $60000 if we wanted our house to start building. Seemed like locking the price meant nothing. They asked us to cancel the contract frequently. Maybe because they wanted to bring the house back in market in much higher price. We waited for 5 months but they never started building the house, also they never gave us any answers about when they might start building. They left us with no other choice, so we had to cancel the contract. We were willing to wait if we knew when they would start building but also we did not like the fact that they asked us to add more money after signing the contract.
