Lillian Homes

We built our home with Lillian in 2021/2022 and had a lovely experience, specifically with our main contact, Melissa. She was so responsive and a wonderful cheerleader. We've been in the home for 7 months now and love it. No, it is not perfect (what home is?), but it is perfect for us and we haven't had any issues. The builder has been helpful long after closing. I'm grateful for our experience and would say that building a home requires patience on both sides, the builder and the home owner. Construction can be a messy experience, but it all comes together in the end.

Dixie was GREAT! One of the BEST customer service experiences I have ever had. It was a rough start with another arm of the company , but she stepped in and made everything right and got all of my problems with my home addressed. I felt pretty helpless as a first time buyer with the process, but due to her understanding and professionalism, everything worked out great.

Bought a spec home during the housing crunch due to relocation in Red Oak. House failed inspection causing my move date to get moved. During construction tradesman left chicken bones and trash in house when I visited. Spoke to project manage who addressed it.
The floor plan was adequate, but the floor plan had some quirks. The kitchen island was close to the counters, minimizing the fridge options. I wanted to add taller toilets, but when I removed the toilets that came with house we discovered they were not bolted to the foundation. Called warranty team and the plumber they used stated that it was within code. I had new toilets bolted to floor.
The attic was foam filled, and the walls had foam board but could hear other rooms and some exterior noise. I called insulation company and they used IR camera and discovered none of the interior walls had insulation. So I paid...

Overall our home building process was pretty stress free. It has been a pleasure working with Dixie in the warranty department. We had a few things that needed to be tweaked after closing and Dixie was relentless in ensuring everything was resolved quickly. She is personable, honest, professional and goes the extra mile. She literally came to our home during a rain storm to resolve a window issue that could have eventually turned into a very expensive fix over time. There she was soaking wet, positive attitude & didn’t leave until it was fixed. I pray she receives the recognition she deserves, she is an amazing person & made settling into our new home less overwhelming. The homes are beautiful, my only complaint is about the lack of cleanup/landscaping at the entrance of the development.The overgrown grass & trash dumping takes away from how nice the area is. I won’t go into details but we had an issue with our home in which sone fixtures were not installed correctly. Our warranty was no longer valid. I reached out to Dixie and she made sure to send electricians to our home to fix their (the electrician’s mistake, not Lillian’s) mistakes. Lilian did not impose a cost to me. Very professionally, promo and courteous. The electrician who came out was also of the utmost professionalism and good quality of work. They were not the electricians responsible for the original bad installation.

The owners and managers of this company are dishonest and will try to take advantage of you at every chance they get. They were successful in screwing us over on the property tax proration. After consulting with an attorney we were told even though we were correct we would end up spending more on attorney fees than what we stood to gain, so we dropped it. Save yourself the hassle and go with a different builder.

Breanne in the warranty department is on top of her game. We had the A/C unit go out, and she stayed on top of the situation the whole time. I can't believe how much attention to detail she shows. She is truly an asset to Lillian homes . Wonderful customer service. Thanks

Dixie Keel has been a pleasure to work with. We are on a 1 year home warranty and have put in a few tickets since we moved in. She personally came to the house to discuss the next steps and take photos. Very responsive and thorough in her work. She was on top of everything. Even took the time to show us how to work the sprinkler system. Helped us avoid another $500+ water bill! Looking forward to working with her again in the future.
