If there was a lower star then 1 I would have rated them lower. I worked for Lillian Custom Homes and there corporate office and area managers (all of them), have no clue how to do their jobs and that's being generous to be honest, If it was me buying a house LILLIAN CUSTOM HOMES WOULD NEVER CROSS MY MIND AT ALL.

This is the worst possible home builder. The quality of the homes is way below par. They couldn’t even follow the floor plan. My ceiling in my living room should be vaulted and it’s flat, one of the attic access points you can’t use at all because the hole for the ladder to come down is too small, they left garbage and beer bottles all over the backyard, one of the drawers on the kitchen won’t open because of the poor installation of the cabinet. When they put in the counter top they got the grout stuff all on the floor. Truly this company is the worst and years later I’m having various issues with the home. The carpets have a 10 year warranty from the manufacturer but when I contacted Lillian they refuse to do anything about them. They wore down extremely quickly within 2 years. I am currently a Lillian homeowner as of a Jun 2022 close. As of today 12/17/2023, nearly a year and a half past, I have broken windows they installed damaged, no screens, and a driveway that's falling apart becsuse their warranty team will not follow through on repairs.i have given up on the 12 month cosmetic touch ups. I made calls, sent emails, and opened requests on their site, but I have now stopped. I made a BBB complaint, and in the mealtime, my husband took up this fight because i'm out of patience, time, and grace. I dont care who comes through first, the lawyer or the umpteenth repair request; either way, my home will be fixed at no cost to me.

Moved into a new Lillian home in the cross fence community on 3/23. On May 6th, a week before our baby was born, a storm blows through. Water was leaking from the roof in the attic in two spots and every single window on the back side of the house where the rain was blowing had water coming through the windows. Carpets wet and paint coming off the walls, It was a giant mess. I submitted a warranty claim that night in the storm so this issue could be fixed as fast as possible.
The roofers were out first thing Monday morning and had the leaks fixed. Great company there.
The rest has been terrible. Going on two weeks now and still do not have the windows fixed. AJ from the warranty department has been great to work with but it sounds like he can only do so much and is restricted from the powers at be of Lillian. There’s a reason Lillian Homes has so many negative reviews on Yelp. If you’re looking at buying/signing a contract with them, I strongly recommend not doing so. Not only is there zero buyer protection in the contract so they can do practically anything and not be held at default of terms, but the quality of the homes is poor. The prices they set do not match the quality of materials or quality of construction.

The spec house we were under contract for was framed up with windows, water barrier sheathing, and HVAC installed in January 2022. In April we were told they were changing cabinet builders, so we had to repick style and finish. Then we had to wait for cabinets to come in and it would be 30-60 days from once there were in. We purchased our custom build home in February in Burleson. Sarah was AMAZING! She helped every step of the way and still will return any calls or texts to this day. She was very attentive and patient during the entire process. She was vey friendly. We couldn't be happier with Lillian home and would build again with them in the future.

Honestly working with Lillian has been smooth for my client and myself. The sales agent Walter Day Has been super helpful and the team they have there with the builder Chris made my experience very postive and I look to working with them in the future.

As a real estate investor and working with Walter I have nothing but positive things to say. My clients have bought several homes with Lillian and whenever there was an issue they took care of it immediately and kept me informed step-by-step of the building process. Their warranty department is also top notch.

Nightmare to deal with don’t waste your time.
