My experience at Hospital BC has been first-rate from start to finish. The entire process was smooth and stress-free, and the staff have been amazing every step of the way. A special thank you to Beto, who went above and beyond as our translator — making us feel welcome, safe, and comfortable throughout our stay. Truly outstanding care!

It's been great here at Hospital BC. I am from the US and came for a gastric bypass revision. Everyone is nice and patient and they take the time to explain what's happening every step of the way. The doctor was more patient and spent more time explaining than any IS doctor I've ever seen. The after care is amazing and very much needed after such a major surgery. Everything is clean and I always felt safe. The companion bed is the only complaint. My 6'1" hubby found it very uncomfortable and far too short for him.

Nursing staff is really nice, everyone is very attentive to how you feel. Would recommend to anyone thinking about getting any kind of bariatric surgery.

Hospital BC has been a wonderful experience compared to another hospital that I went to which was not a good experience paying a little extra more is worth it here you will get your moneys worth properly. I would say that for the most part hospital BC is very close to an American hospital

I had my gastric bypass 26 years ago and started to regain my weight and my insurance would not cover the revision so I came to Tijuana twice once with a bad clinic and then now with hospital BC I have never had such a wonderful care from hospital in the US like I did here. My experience here at hospital BC has been amazing. I had a mini bypass performed around 10 in the morning and by evening I was up walking with very little discomfort. The entire staff are very friendly. I wish I could remember all their names To say thank you However, the ones I remember are Juan Carlos who I emailed and text mailed many many times. He answered all my questions and concerns before arriving, Sal is one of Hospital BC valets who pick me up at the airport and drove me Through the border with Mexico and to my hotel room he pointed out all the sites to see along the way and made the trip very friendly and Beto, who picked me up at the hotel The next dayand help me with all my request to make my stay as comfortable as possible while at hospital.BC. I am so satisfied that I'm going to talk to my son about coming here as well.

Dr Illan struck me as one deeply invested in the care and success of his patients. A very kind, professional and empathetic Surgeon. Last, but definitely not least, very skilled at his craft. Hospital BC staff were all amazing. And quite attentive. My nutritionist Flor, both Sara's, Nurse Flor, Lupita, Sal, Luiz and Beto were very attentive and kind. Dr Lydia and Dr Cruz were compassionate and took the time to reassure me and answer any questions I and my companion (my cousin) had. There were many more staff I'd like to credit but didn't retain all the names. Thank you Dr Illan and team!

My husband had a gastric sleeve surgery here and we have had an amazing experience. All the staff have cared for us very well and we would recommend this facility to our family and friends who are looking for this type of medical care.
