I have met more people than I can name here, I will say I was up and walking after 1 1/2 hr after surgery. Sara the receptionist, she is awesome there is people who are constantly cleaning the facility. David, flour and Beto have been good to us while here.

Sal picked us up from airport, super nice and told us some history about the border as well as where my companion could go for food and shopping. Bill and Mary Jo both shared their experiences giving me confidence I made right decision. What can I say about Beto…amazing! Not sure what his title is but he seems to do a lot and has been so great to be around. Nurses-my fave was Diego -so compassionate. All nurses however answered my call light within 60 seconds. Front desk-Sarah-so friendly and always remembered my name. DR ILLAN AND THE ANESTHESIOLOGIST are my hero’s. Thank you for a successful surgery and a new beginning at life. Can’t wait to get home and start the process! Thank you Hospital BC. I will add not all nurses spoke English fluently but used an app to translate, and my room was a little loud due to building by Main Street but didn’t affect my sleep. But still give 5 stars!

I want to start out by saying Dr Illan and his staff was amazing. The nurses and the doctors incredible. My surgery was quick all 3 surgeons were amazing Dr illan was very knowledgeable and very warm and welcoming and you just feel like you are in great hands. Every one from Beto who is extremely professional and very caring to the drivers sal and Jaziel who were just awesome people and very friendly to the receptionist up front with very warm welcoming. They speak very well English and Spanish so you have all the questions you want answered. I would give this hospital and staff 100 stars if I could. If any one is looking to get anything done and are thinking twice I would not. We love Tijuana and it was very safe amazing place. Again thank you to the entire hospital BC for such great experience.

Very pleasant experience. I was very nervous when coming here to get my surgery done but the staff were all so very kind and attentive. They answered all my unspoken questions and were diligent in my comfort and care. Dr. Ilian himself came to my room prior to the surgery and spoke with me and my husband about what to expect and how the surgery would go. After my surgery he came directly to my husband and let him know how everything went. Berto was extremely helpful too, giving me tips and suggestions on where to walk and what things I could do afterward. I would strongly suggest hospital BC to anyone wishing to undergo any bariatric surgeries. Wonderful staff all the way around.

I had the best experience here at Hospital BC. If you are considering bariatric surgery then I highly suggest Dr. Illan and team. Dr. Illan answered all my questions and made me feel more than confident to have a MGB done. Jaziel was such a personable driver who made us feel comfortable and made our journey across the border easy. Beto is by far one of the best people to have in the hospital who will make you feel right at home and take of all your needs. Flor, the nutritionist has been absolutely wonderful. There are so many more people I want to mention, but it's easier to say that this is the best team. I would recommend all my friends and family.

My experience here was awesome! I was here 4 years ago and enjoyed the experience so much I came back again. Beto was amazing and took such good care of my husband and I. The doctors and nurses were very helpful and knowledgeable we had excellent care I would recommend this hospital to anyone!
