We love Children’s Lighthouse and are so happy with our experience here. The school does a great job of striking a balance between learning and having fun in a safe environment. The owner is very present and visible, and the directors do a great job of resolving concerns quickly. My son has had some amazing teachers, and overall, we can’t say enough good things about our experience here.

Children’s Lighthouse has been an amazing experience for my children. They had so much fun learning, enjoying the themed curriculum, and so many family events. We as parents felt so safe dropping off our kids here knowing they’re cared for. Ms Kelly, the owner, is full of joy and love and makes sure every kid feels special. I cannot say enough great things about this place.

The owner and staff are very attentive, my son loves coming here and had attended rooms 4,5, 6 and 7. You are able to see the cameras everyday which gives me a piece of mind, I recommend this daycare to everyone.

My son has been going here and we are so pleased with it! He has a special diet and the staff have been so accommodating and understanding, especially Ms Ashley in the kitchen. Everyone is so nice and we appreciate the owner, management, staff and teachers!

My kids are in rooms 4 & 7 and I cannot say enough how much we love this school! My son is autistic and after being turned away from so many schools, Children’s Lighthouse welcomed him with open arms. He went from crying at drop off the first few days to walking himself in every morning. My daughter and my son are both incredibly obsessed with Ms Taylor and we are so grateful for her along with all of their other teachers!

We purposely bought a house close to this school so my kids could continue to attend as long as possible! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

My two kids have been at Children's Lighthouse since August 2021, and we absolutely love it! My children have been in rooms 5 - 10, and we have had nothing but positive experiences!

Miss Kelly, the owner, is incredible! Her kindness and enthusiasm are off the charts, and she loves the children and families with her whole heart! In addition to being present on-site and welcoming everyone who walks in the doors, you can tell she puts a ton of thought and care into everything she does to give the very best to the children and families at Lighthouse. She also has a huge heart for the community, and I see her all the time at community events. She's there with activities for the kids, and is always supporting local schools. My daughter goes to Centennial Elementary and Miss Kelly is one of the school's biggest supporters in the entire community!

Stepping into this childcare center is like entering a wonderland of joy and care! As first time parents, the first drop-off felt like a heart-wrenching movie scene, but boy, did that change fast! The staff here aren't just caretakers; they're heart-warriors, showering our kiddo with love and attention.

The peace of mind we've gained is priceless, knowing our daughter is in the safest of hands. And let's talk about the events! This place is event-central, bringing the fun of all seasons to life. Imagine your kiddo making snow angels with snow special delivered in the winter, sprinting through a kaleidoscope of colors in the spring, and bicycle parades and ALL THE KONA ICE! They really take the effort to make the atmosphere vibrant and engaging for both students and parents.

The cherry on top? The owner, a bundle of joy and energy, who welcomes every child...

Children’s Lighthouse is definitely a better daycare facility in the area. The facility itself is very clean and I can tell that things are ran properly by the owner, Ms. Kelly. She is awesome and knows al the children by their name!! The teachers are phenomenal in the infant room and I can see that they truly have a passion for what they do. Ms. Stephanie and Ms. Taylor made a feel so comfortable dropping off my little one on his first day. As a previous child care director who ran multiple sites, I appreciate good staff who truly love children. In my opinion, there are a few things I wish could be handled different as far as communication goes when it comes to enrollment, but I do know how hard it is to run a daycare facility. Other than that, I feel pretty safe about leaving my child.

Update: I am adding to my review because my child is now 2 and we’ve been going there...

We needed a new before and after care for our daughter beginning of this year, we happen to live close to CHL Lake Houston and we asked for a tour. During the Tour, Ms Danelle was friendly and accomodating to our anxious questions and answered questions with patience and understanding. We were nervous because our daughter already made friends at another facility. On her first day, she was greeted by Ms Kelly (the owner), she wanted to cry at first, but Ms Kelly took her time to warm her up and she did in 30 seconds (or less), and I got to be at work on time that early morning. The next day and days after it is as if she has been there forever. Teacher in room 10 in morning is very friendly as well as the one in room 9. We are always greeted with smile and goodbyes with warm greetings. To top if off, they always have "treats" to grab when you leave , Fridays are my fave...
