Children's Lighthouse of Lake Houston

Even though our time at this daycare was very short, I still wanted to take the time to leave a review because of how wonderful our experience was. Our daughter, only attended for two days before we ultimately decided that we just weren’t ready as a family for her to start daycare yet. Our decision to take her out had absolutely nothing to do with the daycare or the care she received—we simply realized it was a little too soon for us.

With that being said, I cannot say enough great things about this daycare and their staff. Every single person I met during our short time there was incredibly kind, caring, and welcoming. They truly exceeded my expectations and made me feel like my daughter was in good hands.

It is wonderful to see the incredible enthusiasm Ms. Kelly and her staff bring to educating and caring for the children each day. My daughter loves attending and that alone speaks volumes. I highly recommend Children's Lighthouse as an outstanding foundation for young children’s learning and development.

The owner and staff are very attentive, my son and daughter coming here. You are able to see the cameras everyday which gives me a piece of mind, I recommend this daycare to everyone.

Children’s Lighthouse has been absolutely amazing. From the moment you walk in, it smells fresh and looks spotless—you can tell it’s well cared for. The front desk ladies not only greet you but welcome you every morning and Ms. Kelly is always present, setting a fun tone—whether it’s pirate day or Christmas, she’s dressed for it and fully engaged.

Our son is in Room 1 with Sister Marie and Ms. Raven, who are incredible. They care for the babies with so much love and patience. They have a wonderful routine, and the teamwork shows—everything flows seamlessly. The classroom is always clean and organized, and the curriculum is fantastic. We are so grateful for their care!

This is our second baby they care for, and we have toured and tried different daycares in the area and by FAR, I dare to say Children’s Lighthouse is the BEST.

Initially, I was extremely nervous about putting my daughter in daycare. I recall interviewing/touring so many daycares before selecting Children’s Lighthouse in 2023. I can honestly say this place has exceeded my expectations over the last 3 years. The care, attention, love, and education she receives have made all the difference for our family.

Mrs Kelly is very involved and truly cares about the children, families, and staff. Most mornings you’ll find her cheerleading at the front door greeting everyone by name. Mrs Erica and Mrs Dannell offer friendly smiles, fun conversation and handle everything professionally and in a timely manner. The teachers know not only the children by name, but the parents as well. It creates such a warm and personal environment.

Excellent childcare. Great staff and owners. So much effort is put into everything they do. We are sad to leave the area and leaving here is a huge loss for us. We've trusted them with both our children and they never let us down. They communicate well when there are problems but also when things are going well. Wish I could do 10 stars.
