I bought a used sofa set that turned out to smell far worse than I realized, and I went down a rabbit hole calling upholstery cleaners to see if anyone could save it. Three companies promised they could magically erase cat urine odor. Carpet MD was the only one that didn’t feed me a fairy tale. Chris was blunt, transparent, and honestly a breath of fresh air—he told me up front that no cleaning on earth was going to fully remove that kind of damage. I appreciated the honesty so much that I decided to move forward anyway, just to see if we could get it better than it was.

Chris sent Alyssa out quickly, and she showed up with the same straightforward clarity. She didn’t pretend this would be a miracle fix, but she still put in over two hours of serious effort and skill. She did everything humanly possible, and the couch looked beautiful even if the odor itself was stubborn....
