The quotation that that gave me at first was very thorough and transparent so there were no surprise added costs. Whichever additional costs that incurred, I was fully aware of them as I was the one who requested the upgrades.

We used Basement Builders to finish our unfinished basement. We had gotten quotes from a couple other builders, we found them to be the most honest and straightforward with what could/could not be done. Pricing wasn’t the cheapest, but we were willing to pay a bit extra for a more established developer. We’re pretty sure this was the right call, as they were very professional, process was very well organized, customer service was very responsive and accommodating throughout. Quality of work was definitely pretty solid, most of the issues we had were fairly minor and they took care of them pretty quickly. One thing in particular we appreciated was that most of the sub-contracted services (framer, drywaller, tiler etc..) were professional and nice to deal with.
