Being first time home buyers, we dont have any frame of reference for what makes a good home inspection or what to expect from a home inspection company. That became less of an issue leading up to the inspection, and after we had received some preliminary videos of the inspection we were fully confident that AAD had everyone's best interests in mind and gave the most in-depth inspection that could be done without poking holes or getting intrusive.
Based on the warranty alone, I can with 100% confidence say that they gave the best inspection available and got us every bit of detail possible. Enough information that had I not seen the house a couple times myself, id assume it had everything wrong with it. We recently purchased a home in Idaho and AAD Inspection Corp did our home inspection. I am a preconstruction manager for a commercial construction company and on occasion do a similar type of service for our clients so when I read through the report I was very impressed. I don't think I have ever seen such a detailed and thorough inspection report. They even listed the model and serial numbers on the appliances. AAD was amazing from start to finish. My original contacts were Shauna and Jill for making our appointment. They were helpful, flexible and encouraging during a very stressful time while we were waiting for the offer on a house to be accepted. They had great follow up as well as set expectations as to how our inspection would be conducted. Jack was our inspector and he was wonderful. He spent the better part of 4 hours inspecting the house and then answering any and all questions I had about the process and the home. He was thorough, knowledgeable and it was a very educational experience. We are buying a hundred year old house so we knew it would not be without quirks.
