495 Movers Inc

These guys were amazing - start to finish. We moved all the contents of a 3 bedroom house (including an upright piano from another location) out of state (from NYC to Lehigh County, Pennsylvania) to another 3 bedroom house and they were able to provide a fair estimate of how many movers and trucks they would need via a couple of video calls. They confirmed our info a week before the move. They didn't show up on time on the day of the move - they showed up EARLY! Amazing. 6 guys and 2 trucks and they worked their butts off. They were nice, professional, didn't break anything or damage the walls/floors. I was really impressed. They disassembled a bunk bed and 2 tables and reassembled them all when we got to the final destination. They worked from 7:30am-10:30pm and were great the entire time. It was a stressful day but they did their very best and I am extremely grateful!...

Marvin and Tito did a fantastic job with delivering, unloading and unpacking at my new home. They were friendly, professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. First, they were able to get a semi into a tight spot, on a narrow old road that gets a lot of traffic, on a hill that is easily 45+ degree angle upward.
During the move, we found that the hardware for my bed was packed in some unknown box by the original moving company. I was about to give up and sleep on the mattress on the floor, but they were determined to find the hardware to build the bed frame. They went through the inventory list (where it wasn't listed), opened boxes and found the hardware, then assembled the bed. After 3 weeks of sleeping on an air mattress, I was so grateful to have a bed again!

They were great from the start. Dean was incredibly helpful when I called and scheduled. He was also helpful and understanding as the time for our move drew nearer and I started to stress about all the details. Then on the day of pack and move Marvin and his crew were here early and were able to fit everything in our moving container. They were incredibly fast and masters at packing so everything fit and was secure. They would be me first and only call next we move if we were still in the area.

Company is very responsive until they make a sale (*note that the actual movers were wonderful*) and then there is a steep drop off in communication - radio silence! I was very disappointed with the communication and lack of professionalism with the ops team during our long distance move to Chicago on 8/6-8/8. I have now tried multiple times, with multiple persons, to have a discussion of what went wrong. I was promised return calls and never heard anything, thus the reason for this review. For the expensive price tag of a pack and move, you can find a company that actually responds to your questions and concerns!

Antonio and his crew were just amazing in our move. They certainly followed all Covid friendly protocols, wore masks at all times, worked non stop and made a stressful move much easier through their helpfulness and professionalism. Excellent service and professionalism.....I really appreciate their service....I strongly recommend them for anyone prospectively looking for moving company.....
