495 Movers Inc

Wonderful experience with 495 movers. They came at the suggestion of a friend who used them before. We were anxious because of all of the horror stories about hiring movers (this was our first big move and we have finally purchased nice furniture), but the great communication from the company and how well the movers themselves were wrapping and packing everything, I quickly became at ease. Things were definitely handled with care so I was not concerned about anything breaking and sure enough it all arrived in perfect condition and they put the furniture back together. The crew was just very nice overall.

We did find a few small things during the final walkthrough (the wall mounting hardware for a couple of floating shelves) but that is not surprising.

Overall a really good experience considering the stress of a move. I would highly encourage folks to consider...

Milton from 495 Movers did an amazing job with my DC to NYC move! He and his crew were prompt, professional, and very conscientious with all my stuff. Heaven and Kira from customer service were also great about coordinating with me beforehand. Definitely would recommend!

Great friendly staff! I am not sure how they move all that heavy furniture up and down stairs all day but they did it and it was quick! I will definitely be using them again if we ever decide to move again.

We used 495 Movers for our over-the-weekend office move. They were timely, professional and so helpful! We were impressed with their skill and felt our items were well taken care of. Leading up to the move their customer service team was very helpful and everything went smoothly.

These movers were absolutely professional! They provide the boxes, tape and packing paper from their warehouse. They were flexible with my changes and called to come earlier which worked well for me. I was given an accurate estimate and the timing was on point. The movers are very polite and professional. Everything was moved exactly how I wanted it. The went above and beyond to protect my hardwood and carpet. Thank you so much to the team that helped with my move. It was seamless.
I highly recommend this company. FYI … They will pack for you too but I made sure 99% of everything was already packed beforehand.

Would absolutely hire again. They sent four guys to move our house, and finished ahead of schedule (and thus our bill was lower than the initial estimate). They took care to wrap all the fragile items that we had not packed, such as the TV, monitors, framed pictures, and furniture. Nothing was damaged from what I can tell. They also let me pick up as many boxes and rolls of tape as I needed beforehand so that we could prep. The only issue in the end is that they did not remember that I had put a deposit down when doing the final paperwork, so make sure that you have that receipt handy. But overall they made this part of the move pretty stress free.

Company itself was very good about answering my questions and accommodating my needs. The movers did a great job packing things up and unloading them too. No damage at all!
