- Preliminary discussion w/ Dean, the moving consultant, and initial walkthrough estimate by VP, Joshua Johnson was very personable, and helped us understand the details of the process. The positive experience was a deciding factor to go w/ 495 Movers.
- Moving quote (and actual) was a very reasonable rate.
- Boxes in general, and especially the extra boxes, delivered ahead of time certainly helped. And the extra packing paper was very helpful.
- Communication from Autumn and Kira, communications and quality assurance specialists, ahead of the move was awesome, to check on our progress, confirm multiple items, and inquire about insurance.

Amazing movers. Professional, quick, and able to work with anything. We had Jamie, Edwin, and Jorge - extremely hard working crew. They had to wake up at 4 am to get to our place on time!

Excellent and professional moving experience

Milton and his crew, Gustovo and Hoover were extremely professional in performing their job. They arrived on time and worked quickly to get the truck loaded and accommodated a 2 stop delivery. All furniture was packed and wrapped to ensure that they arrived safely.This is my second move with this company and I would highly recommend them!

Quick, efficient nice guys

We have used 495Movers three times since March 2023. The first was long distance from Tidewater VA to Silver Spring MD. Two stops were needed to pick up and load items before driving down to Virginia. They left early enough to avoid traffic and arrived prepared and ready to work as a fine-tuned machine. Milton and his crew of two were organized, each knowing exactly what jobs to do in what order. The items were being delivered to three different locations and placed in the van so as to be taken out in an expedient manner. The crew members labeled, prewrapped to prevent damages, and boxed items. They padded and plastic wrapped larger items and furniture. Great care was taken with our belongings. Recently, I moved from Maryland to Ohio and used 495 Movers, Inc. on both ends of the move. Their service was fantastic and the care that they took with my belongings was stellar. The team that packed my items for storage were easy to work with, listened to my concerns, and offered suggestions in order to make the process go more smoothly. Once the truck arrived in Ohio it was the same process. The two gentlemen who unloaded the truck were careful with the items, had a great system of bringing boxes, beds, and artwork into the house, and were very pleasant to work with. While moving can be very stressful, the team at 495 Movers did everything possible to limit the stress. I moved from VA to SC recently. I was skeptical of this company at first because I never heard of them. They were very professional during my initial contact. Even though they were not my lowest estimate, they won my business by matching and exceeding the services of the competition. Thankfully, they won my business because this is the best move experience from start to finish I’ve ever experienced. The packers at origin and destination were very timely, professional, respectful and worked well together. Company office personnel were constantly in touch with updates and readily available throughout the move. Items were received on time with zero damage.
