Recently, I moved from Maryland to Ohio and used 495 Movers, Inc. on both ends of the move. Their service was fantastic and the care that they took with my belongings was stellar. The team that packed my items for storage were easy to work with, listened to my concerns, and offered suggestions in order to make the process go more smoothly. Once the truck arrived in Ohio it was the same process. The two gentlemen who unloaded the truck were careful with the items, had a great system of bringing boxes, beds, and artwork into the house, and were very pleasant to work with. While moving can be very stressful, the team at 495 Movers did everything possible to limit the stress. Even though they were not my lowest estimate, they won my business by matching and exceeding the services of the competition. 495 Movers was recommended by Angi so I felt comfortable using them. Josh listened and understood my needs and worked me into their schedule to accommodate my timing.
Autumn checked in with me several times to confirm details and answer questions before and after the move.
But the shining stars were Marvin and his crew who did a fabulous job wrapping and securing everything very quickly and smoothly. Upon delivery, Marvin went above and beyond to ensure delivery of a sofa that was too big for the elevator. Everything was delivered quickly and smoothly as well.
My charges were exactly as quoted. The only thing I wish I had known in advance was that Zelle has a limit on how much you can pay a new vendor, and it’s not enough to pay moving charges, so plan on another method of payment. Read more >

As those that endured the pain of moving know that it is not an easy process, especially when moving from one state to another. 495Movers made it painless!!! From the time of initial guote to the job completion they stayed in contact with me and provide support and guidance. I’ve used 495 Movers Inc. twice to move me. Both times they were highly concerned, professional, and efficient. The second time I called them with short-notice, but they fit me in; and, the two workers sent, Edwin and Salinas, were friendly, timely, and businesslike.
