I recently did an out of state move with 495 Movers from Maryland to North Carolina and their service was stellar every step of the way. I had two personal referrals for this company: one from a family member who had done a similar out of state move and the other from my real estate agent who is also a family friend. Despite their glowing reviews, I also decided to get two other quotes just to do my due diligence. 495's quoting process was far more transparent than the other movers, and was weight based rather than volume based. Their price quote was very reasonable and in line with other vendors but the level of service and information provided was much more robust. They made scheduling easy, kept in touch with me every step of the way to ensure things were on track, and offered helpful tips and insights as I prepared for my move. The movers were fast, professional, and polite. They moved everything quickly and my furniture remained in an excellent condition. In my new place they put everything according to my requests and to the markings on the boxes.I am very pleased with how they did everything. Five stars, highly recommended.

495 Movers were extremely helpful from beginning to end. Dean not only answered all my questions but went out of his way to adjust time and date for the video call. The estimate was reasonable. This was a move I really didn't want to do but it was necessary. Gustavo's team was very professional and sympathetic. I sat and waited in the lobby of my building during the move. Each time they came down with a load of boxes the team acknowledged my presence. And setting up the doll cases upon arrival, Gustavo was extremely fastidious to make sure they were even and in the same position that they were originally. The move went smoothly thanks to the experience and care of the team. I have notified my former apartment manager of my appreciation of 495 and thanked the manager for recommending them. Thanks to 495 Movers the transition has been easier.

I cannot recommend 495 movers enough! They are so professional and very quick! Not only are all packing materials included in the price, but they worked quickly and tirelessly to get all of our furniture packed and moved. They reassembled all furniture they took apart and made sure we liked where it was placed. They made our move less stressful.

Had a great experience with 495 Movers. Used them for a 2bd apartment move from DC to Philadelphia. The workers were on-time, courteous, hard-working, and efficient. I thought the price was fair and appreciated the transparency of a flat rate per-hour price. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend! We used 495 Movers for packing and moving from DC to Atlanta, and they did a great job. Easy to work with and reliable. I recommended them to my in-laws for their long distance move and they similarly had a great experience.

Good movers, excellent team. The guys went through packing (large items) and moving a 3 BR home in about 9.5 hours. The estimate was a little off, and the truck took about 45 minutes to get to the destination from about 4 miles out. Took me by surprise.

Get a detailed estimate, and be ask about scheduled breaks and travel time inclusions in your estimate.

Otherwise, this is my 3rd move with 495 movers. They've been very professional and the moving team does thorough work.
