I used 495 Movers for a recent move from D.C. to Philly, and they were amazing from start to finish. Josh, Autumn, Edwin's team — everyone was so communicative, skilled, and conscientious at each step of the way. The cost was also very reasonable and included all packing materials we could possibly need. What a great company! I made the mistake of using a cut-rate company last time and got nickel-and-dimed for every stair, box, and the rest. 495 is more expensive per hour but their crews are solid, fast, professional, and all the materials are included. This is a huge saver of time and money, allowing you to pick up materials in advance and pack yourself so on moving day it's only the big stuff and the carrying. Hands down, 3/1/24 was the best moving experience my hubby and I've had courtesy of 495 Movers. From getting a quote from Karla and scheduling and check-ins from Autumn, to the efficiency and extreme care in moving our belongings (including an upright piano) by Fernando and his moving team of two other gentlemen, everyone's patience and professionalism was above and beyond the call of duty! Pricing was very reasonable, and I appreciated the free packing materials for us to use since we decided to pack everything ourselves. Initially, I had someone conduct an in-person estimate. The gentleman was extremely professional and knowledgeable. They were very accommodating with scheduling the move and answering all of my questions beforehand. They supplied as many moving boxes and tape as I needed. The customer service department called a few times before the day of the move to confirm everything. On the day of the move, the crew arrived on time (even a little early, which was great) and were very efficient in loading all of my boxes and furniture.
