Nettle Props

Kevin is the man, he knows shallow water bay fishing. I’ve bought 2 props for 2 different motors from him and they’ve been exactly what I’ve needed. Great prices and great service.

I was down to poor hole-shot capabilities with my old prop and was pretty dissatisfied with its service life, and it's related operating cost per hour. I surely did not want to buy another one just like it.

So I decided to call Nettles and spoke with Mr. Kevin. We talked a bit and he asked me some questions about my boat / motor / existing prop setup and how shallow I fished.

Mr. Kevin recommend a different model, diameter, and pitch from what I was running and he hit it right on the money.

I went out today for the first time running the new prop and found that it improved the boat's speed at WOT, improved its Hole Shot capability, it now can plane at a lower speed, it improved the steering at cruising speed and also at slow idle. And now I have improved reverse which comes in handy when launching and docking.

This company is great, on 3 different occasions they have fixed my stainless steel prop a couple years ago, straightened out my prop shaft 3 weeks ago, and took a new 23pitch aluminum prop & turned it into a 25pitch for me. The customer service is great, would highly recommend them to anyone.

Probably one of the few businesses remaining that does an outstanding job delivering exactly what they promised at a very reasonable price. I had a prop reconditioned and a wakeboard tower welded and they both came out perfect. And got them both back the next day. Kevin’s a hell of nice guy too. Definitely my go to from now on.

Nettles Props is the place to go to get your prop repaired, your skeg rebuilt or any aluminum repairs needed on your boat. They have been my go to place for over 30 years. Do you need a new prop? Nettles can recommend the correct replacement taking into consideration on what boat, what motor and what you are trying to accomplish.

I read a blog review of a Malibu owner who had successfully switched props with the guidance of Nettle Props whom he highly recommended. I had the same boat and the same need for better performance so I reached out to Nettle and was able to speak with the owner JT, who walked me through the selection details. He also gave me great advice on how to remove the prop and said to call him back if I had any problems. A few days later when the new prop arrived, wouldn't ya know it, I needed advice to get the stubborn damaged prop off. Again, he was easy to reach and called me back after hours and successfully talked me through the removal process.

I have been having my props repaired by Nettle for over a decade. Most of my boating is done in the Susquehanna river where we frequently have mean water levels of 3 to 3.5 feet for at least half the summer. Although I have boated here for most of my life, I still do not know where all the rocks aren’t! It’s good to know I can have my Props professionally repaired when the inevitable happens.

I talked to one of the Nettle Prop guys and he was very helpful in suggesting what kind of prop I wanted for barefoot waterskiing on my old Mastercraft. Fast shipping and very high quality prop. Definitely will be purchasing more from them in the future.
