I honestly can’t say enough about how amazing the team at Nettle Props is. JT and Kevin truly get what great customer service means — they go above and beyond, and it really shows.
I bought a new prop from them in June 2025, and after just a few months, one of the blades broke. I walked in fully expecting to pay for a replacement, but JT and Kevin took one look, explained what they thought had happened (a possible casting issue), and got right on the phone with the manufacturer while I was standing there.
Within minutes, they had it all handled — the manufacturer agreed it was covered under warranty, and I walked out with a brand-new prop in hand. No hassle, no excuses — just genuine people doing the right thing.

I deal with nettles propeller all the time because of their friendly and knowledgeable services. My choice is Powertech four blades for shallow water flats fishing, and duck hunting. There is nothing out there that beats it for the money. I can’t say enough good things about Nettle Props here in Austin. These guys are true professionals and absolute magicians when it comes to prop repair. I brought in two very damaged propellers from my Mastercraft wake boat — both were badly dinged up and out of balance after a rough weekend on the lake. I honestly wasn’t sure if they could even be saved.

When I picked them up, I was blown away. They looked brand new — perfectly polished, balanced, and ready to perform. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were incredible. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their work.

Nettles Props is the best. I have been using them since 1978 when I first got to Austin. They have rebuilt several of my props on different boats that I've owned over the years. They always provide great and professional service. I recently had issue with my latest boat prop and drove all the way from Salado Tx to have them repair the issue. I received same day service for the replacement of internal prop hub. Prop was reinstalled this morning and the boat and motor ran perfectly. I highly recommend them for all your boat prop needs! They are truly experts in their field of nautical propellers.

I have bought a couple props from Nettle since they always have the best pricing. I was called shortly after purchasing my last prop to be informed that they did not have the prop in stock and it would be 3-4 days for it to ship. The owner talked over other prop options with me and I decided to wait for the 3-4 days for the prop to ship. Well, instead of having to wait 3-4 days for the prop to ship, it was already on my doorstep in 4 days. Great customer service and fast shipping. Definitely recommend Nettle!
