Great prop, fast delivery

I live just outside of Nashville, TN and knew nothing about Nettle Props. I placed an order on line for a stainless prop for my boat and I ordered the same diameter and pitch as my boat's old aluminum prop. That turned out to be a big mistake. Even though the diameter and pitch were identical, the newer stainless prop geometry and blade cup was a bit too much for my 1973 Evinrude 85HP outboard. Unfortunately, I placed my on-line order for a prop before speaking with JT. After my outboard was not coming to WOT RPMs with the new prop, I called and talked to JT.
Without going through all of the details, allow me to say that JT was incredibly helpful, patient and knowledgeable. He guided me in the correct direction and sent me a stainless prop that performed exactly the way he said it would. At first I did not want to try the prop he sent but JT urged me to try it. Ha! Now I understand why these guys have 5 stars. They are absolutely amazing. You can't beat their prices either. I feel bad for paying others quite more for the same thing. Well, those overcharging guys got an extra $50 or $60 per prop for the last 5 years but these guys will have my business for life. I had to work with Robert who was probably the friendliest and most knowledgeable guy about props and boats I've ever dealt with. I was set on the prop I want (23 pitch) but thanks to Robert's knowledge and inquiry about the type of boating that I do, I ended up with something better. Highly recommended. Also, very rare when I write reviews but I had to for these guys. Thank you Nettle, keep up the great work.

They provided some solutions, explained each of them and simplified some of the technical elements. I then placed my order online (per their recommendation to save on shipping) and my new prop shipped out same day. Thank you JT!

JT knows a ton and can get a prop shipped out fast! It’s also good that I can send him my old, damaged prop for repair.

I came here looking for a new prop for my wakeboarding boat . The guys here at nettles were awesome . They had the prop I needed IN STOCK and it was $40 cheaper than wakemakers . Done deal! My boat has no problem handling the extra 3500 lbs of ballast now . I should have came here and changed my prop a long time ago . Seriously , thank you !!

Update!!!

So, I contacted Nettle Props a couple of weeks ago about buying a new prop. The buying experience was easy and I was kept well informed.

I received my prop but the pitch wasn’t what I had wanted. I was unsure if the mistake was on my end or theirs.

I sent an email to Nettle Props asking if I had ordered a 17 pitch or a 19 pitch. I really did not remember and I was prepared to be told I had goofed. I also expected a call the next day.

Surprise! Surprise! I received a call from Mr. Nettle himself who admitted the mistake was on the suppliers end and that I would have a new prop within 3 business days. I inquired on how to send the other...

Found them online looking for a prop for my F22. They were awesome to talk to...very helpful on possible options. Have great trial policy. Also was the cheapest I could find too. Would highly recommend!

I first called Nettle Props in April to get advice on the best prop to use for skiing and wakeboarding on my boat. JT was extremely knowledgeable. He even knew the shaft size on my boat before I did!
I finally ordered the prop yesterday, and it showed up this afternoon! The folks at Nettles are nice, knowledgeable, and provide great service. I highly recommend them to anyone needing props or shaft work.

I went from a 21-pitch 3-blade stainless to a PowerTech RX4B 16 pitch. My RPMs are now where they should be and have a lot more stern lift and hole shot. I will be recommending Nettle Props to others.
