My first experience with Nettle Props dates back some 12 to 15 years when I was working on an old Nelson Craft river boat. These folks have a ton of "real world old school knowledge"
that can only be achieved through years of working and perfecting their craft. So rest assured when you are talking to one of there prop guys about a specific application, problem, needs and expectations, you are in fact talking to a seasoned expert in the field of marine propulsion. This statement also applies to the entire company, just first class service from beginning to end. They also have a great prop exchange program if additional fine tuning is needed. This statement was as true 15 years ago as it still is today..
Looking forward to testing my new Prop on this Old Gambler project boat that I am just putting the finishing touches on . .

Excellent service

I hit a sand bar hard at full speed with my stainless prop and spun the hub. I thought for sure I hit hard enough to change the pitch. Nettles pressed in a new hub and evaluated the prop. They recommended I run it as is and they were right, everything was fine. They saved me a couple hundred dollars. They have excellent customer service.

Ordered a new prop for my FX 21. Old one was still working but dinged up and reworked several times. It became a spare. Called Nettles first. Had to backorder it. Backorder came in within a couple of weeks instead of the 6 weeks promised. So that was very good. Aftermarket prop ran just like Yamaha prop. So that was excellent. Prop needed to have 3 holes plugged per Nettles. Got that done at factory before they shipped it. To sum it up, Nettles told me what prop I needed for my Skeeter and what to do with vent holes. New thrust washer also. All worked as promised, very pleased. I live in Del Rio, Nettles is in Austin. Shipping was good also. These folks are very knowledgeable about props and boat brands and models. Saved a bunch over a new Yamaha prop. Good people to deal with, if you need a prop give them a call and they will fix you up. Bill K
