Wonder Dog Training

Can’t say enough great things about Wonder Dog and our trainer Emily! My dog and my partners dog were moving in together and are both older, bigger, territorial-ish females who had been in a fight before (German shepherd & Alaskan malamute). We wanted to make sure they were both as comfortable as possible, and Emily gave us so many great exercises to ensure this! We did 4 sessions with Emily, and our dogs have grown leaps and bounds in that short time. Food and toy defensiveness is so much better, and they can finally be relaxed around each other.

Dogs are always a work in progress - and you need to put in a lot of time outside of training, of course - but it was so worth it! Emily blew me away with how easily she could pick up on very small movements and cues from the dogs, and adjusted swiftly and accordingly if things didn’t go as planned. She also gave us options at the beginning of each training for what we would work on that day, and what we felt would be most beneficial for our dogs.

When looking for trainers I called many places to see if they would do a phone consultation first, and none would. Emily spent a good 45 minutes on the phone with us so we could ask questions, which really put my mind at ease.

If you’re looking for any type of training (or especially working with 2 dogs who may have some territory issues, as was our experience), Emily is your girl! Highly recommend, we can’t thank her enough!
