Dawn was amazing to work with as we navigated life with our new pup Freddie! We initially had her come for a session while Freddie was still a foster, and her guidance played a big part in giving us the confidence to adopt him. Throughout our lessons, she was thoughtful, patient, and full of great advice on everything we wanted to work on. She was also wonderfully flexible, meeting us in different settings and introducing us to new tools and games (Freddie especially loved the sniff game!). Most of all, she helped reassure us about what was normal and how to keep working with and bonding with Freddie settled into his furever home. We can't recommend Dawn enough!

Not only did we use their services, but one of my old bosses (also still a friend) did and we are sooo happy that we did. Cydney was a wonder with helping us with our two four legged kids. Our walks are way more pleasant and even my dogs house manners have changed. She is truly amazing and even all the follow up emails after each session going over all the training and tips to keep using was awesome. Great sessions that were helpful and taught us a lot. Dawn was fantastic and creative. She gave us different methods to use and was helpful in fining solutions to training our pup in new ways. This is only effective if you are consistent in between sessions, so make sure to do the work. Thank you for the help!!

I reached out to the team at Wonder Dog needing a pet sitter for my dog who can nip and bite when nerous. Other sitters had turned me down, but Wonder Dog found Miriam who was knowledgable and patient with my dog. We spoke and she agreed to take him for the week I was gone and as soon as I dropped him off I knew things would be ok. She is knowledgable, respected my dogs need to decompress and come to trust her and followed instructions well. By the end of the week they were friends and I now have a new sitter I can trust while I travel. I received daily updates and communication with the team and Miriam with quick and they were extremely repsonsive.

Braden at Wonder Dog Training was awesome! I have an 8 year old German Shepherd that is reactive to all animals and people. He only likes me and my wife. No new people can get close to him. I had a vacation coming up and needed to be able to board him somewhere. I called multiple places only to be turned down once they heard he was people reactive. I left a message with Wonder Dog Training and Braden called me back and told me how he’d love to meet my dog and see if he could help. Braden came to my apartment and as usual my dog was barking at him like crazy. We went for a walk together and Braden could easily ready my dogs body language and eventually Niko was sniffing Braden. Julie is a wealth of knowledge. She really listened to what we were going through with Milo. Julie and I talked about what I wanted and needed for Milo to be a great dog. Julie brought detailed lesson plans to each session. We would put everything into action and some we had to readjust, but she always made sure I understood the goal before she left. I would highly recommend Julie for all your dog training needs.

Cyndi watched our dog Jorah after he had cancer surgery on his front left paw. We were told he would be healed before we left on our week plus trip to Europe but he wasn't. He still had a cast that needed to be tended to, a cone on his head and multiple medications a day he had to take when Cyndi stepped in to pet-sit for us. Despite Jorah's best attempts to remove his cast daily, which he did get away with once, Cyndi suggested a different kind of wrapping to the veterinarian that secured the cast for the remainder of the time she spent with him. Above and beyond the care that she took with the healing of our pup Cyndi took great care of her home, she made sure it was clean above our expectations, and that our yard was freshly mowed for us upon our return so we could relax and not have to worry about anything in our home when we returned. As a first time dog owner my family and I were struggling to figure out what we could do to help our Goldendoodle puppy.

I called a few different dog trainer services before decided to go with Wonder dog. I love there method of training and really finding the under line issue and coming with teasing methods of love and encouragement instead of hard discipline tactics. Lana helped so much and was extremely knowledgeable with mine and my boyfriends dog. We did training to help with our moving in together. As I have o e dog and my boyfriend has two dogs. I knew it would be an adjustment for my dog since she is use to being the only dog in the home. Lana worked wonders with Roxy and Ketchikan. I would highly recommend Lana and am greatly appreciative for the help of her dog training services and it truly made a huge impact and Roxy is adjusting quite well with know longer being the only dog in the home.

I met Cyndi through a pet sitting service in Escondido where I live and have used her help to care for our two doggies overnight when we've been out of town. Although Cyndi was a perfect stranger to us prior to dog sitting
for us, she made us feel totally at ease entrusting our home and dogs to her care. She's warm, friendly, and sweet with the dogs. She's been a great communicator since day one, and she's never left me hanging, which I

Oh, my gosh!! There are not enough words to say how wonderful the Wonder Dogs experience was for my Jeffrey or myself. Jeffrey was a very stressed Goldendoodle when he arrived. He had seen his handler die right in front of him. He was laying on Stephen's body until the paramedics arrived. He had to deal with a widow of 47 years while retraining from being a memory dog to being a mobility dog. He then came to California and had to deal with my son who is gravely ill and mostly bed ridden.

Wonder Dogs, and mainly Corinna gave him three weeks to de-stress and relax without having to be "on duty". She gave him time to play with other doodles. She gently guided him through the behaviors that he knew. She taught him new behaviors that he needed.

We just finished our training with Rosa a couple of weeks ago, and we are very happy! My husband and I adopted a 9 month old puppy mix, and he was very shy, which led to him barking and growling at the smallest things, people walking by the window, and other dogs. He was potty trained on pads with his foster family so we were having potty accidents inside our home.

Rosa taught our Oso basic obedience, potty training, and elevated his confidence. During our first lesson, he barked and would not go near Rosa. Throughout our 6 lessons, Oso loved Rosa and would greet her at the door. Our last lesson really showed us how much he improved. We went to a public park and we forgot to bring treats, as he is very food motivated. There were horses, people, and other dogs at the park. He did great!!! No barking or growling, just occasional huffing, which we're okay with, and Rosa even...

I adopted a deaf puppy and was looking for a trainer with experience. Wonder dog training had a trainer, Dawn with experience.
Dawn is great! We worked on basic obedience training and determined cues for training my sweet Delphi. Dawn also had suggestions for different tools such as a vibration collar and bells to support training and keeping the pup safe. She was especially helpful with crate training which has been a big struggle. This pup is not a fan of the crate but with other dogs in the house we need a crate until Delphi is a bit bigger and potty trained!
I would definitely recommend wondering dog and I will use them again as training needs arise!

I just wanted to share my amazing experience with Dawn at Wonder Dog Training. It was a critical time in our family as we were at our wits end when our two male labradors (littermates) were neutered at the same time and upon returning home turned on one another like they were fierce enemies. They were bonded prior to the neutering but I believe due to the separation, the medication and the testosterone fluctuations it sent them over the edge. My family and I spent weeks keeping the dogs apart, one inside and one outside at all times, at night during sleeping hours one upstairs and one downstairs which was at times impossible because eventually natured called and they had to go outside and most of the time it was at the same time and at 3am. Dawn was a life saver for our family! She worked so quickly with our Great Dane puppy and gave us the tools to raise him with love and confidence. We won't hesitate to call her back for help with him or future pups!

I have utilized wonder dog for board and traini individual training and for their daycare options. I had an amazing experience with Shelly who was our individual dog trainer. She is extremely knowledgeable and was beyond helpful in teaching us how to work with our high energy Aussie. We also did the puppy jumpstart board and train and while he came home a little more calm there were plenty of issues such as: we never received a manual, received 1 video total of him being trained weeks after we got him home despite asking repeatedly for videos, and they used pet corrector on his counter surfing which wasn't something we were going to use in our home as it felt more aversive than positive. There were also long scheduling delays on the trainers part for the follow up training which led to some regression. Luckily we were still working with Shelly so we didn't lose all the progress....

Juli Duran, with Wonder Dogs, was absolutely amazing! She was super consistent with our new puppy, gave us all the tips for first time dog owners. She even made it really fun for our kids when dog training. If i could recommend anyone to train your puppy it would definitely be her!

can't say enough good things about Wonder Dog Training and Melissa! We started working with her when our Rottie mix puppy was 20 weeks old, focusing on basic skills like walking and general obedience.
What really stood out was how engaging the training was for both me and my pup. Melissa didn't just teach standard commands – she was creative and helpful in addressing our specific needs, even helping us train our dog to do non-conventional tasks like drying his mouth after drinking water!
