We had our little guy board and train with Corrina. She was great and very communicative. He came home with the basics and the biggest concern was him with other dogs. Since she has other dogs in the home and boarding, he was able to learn how to behave and we couldn't be happier. He has been around other dogs a few different times since and we have no issues at all. He has even been pretty calm around the little dogs which is a surprise! Corrina is available when I have additional questions and she takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. The main thing I recommend is be sure to keep up on the training every single day! We had an amazing experience with Nikki at Wonder Dog Training. We rescued a second dog and needed help with his reactivity, fear and our first dog’s demand barking. Nikki was amazing the entire time we worked together and we’ve seen such great improvement in both of our dogs. We chose Wonder Dog because they don’t use any e-collars in their training and only use positive reinforcement and that was very important to us. I can't express how thankful I am for Wonder Dog Training! I hired them to help with my very excitable 1-year-old pup, Archie, who had some bad habits I knew needed to be addressed while he was still young. Archie would jump up and overwhelm people when they came over, didn't walk well on a leash, and had zero recall, especially at night when he refused to come inside. Walks and trips to the park were stressful because he pulled so much, despite trying multiple types of leashes.

Lee and Gidion have been incredible. They took the training process slow and steady, making sure both Archie and I were comfortable at each step. They always answered my questions between sessions, and the sessions at Lowes, PetSmart, and the park were perfect for getting us both used to going for walks public. We are wrapping up our final lesson of our package with Corrina for our 8 month old Lagotto and we are so happy we went with Wonder Dogs! Corrina was always very thorough and patient with us and our boy Rocco. We also recently did a two week board and train with Corrina and are grateful for the good care and training she gave him during that time. He has been so well behaved since coming home and we feel like we have a solid foundation to continue his training on our own. We rescued our 6 y/o golden retriever mix, Luca and had him board and train with Emily while we were away for an extended vacation. I’ve never done board and train before but Emily made the experience an incredible one. From beginning to end, she was very thorough. She sent me daily videos and pictures and weekly progress report to show Luca’s progression. The best thing is Wonder dog strictly uses positive reinforcement. My dog was a happy, energetic dog when we got him but likely never received any training. With the positive reinforcement training, and redirection, Lucs has made leaps and bounds. I recently had the pleasure of having Corrina watch my dog, Lupe, for a week while I was out of the country. I couldn't be more satisfied with her service. My dog looked relaxed and happy upon my return, which is a testament to the excellent care Corrina provided. She was incredibly accommodating with pick-up and drop-off times, which was a huge help given my changing international flight schedule. Can’t say enough great things about Wonder Dog and our trainer Emily! My dog and my partners dog were moving in together and are both older, bigger, territorial-ish females who had been in a fight before (German shepherd & Alaskan malamute). We wanted to make sure they were both as comfortable as possible, and Emily gave us so many great exercises to ensure this! We did 4 sessions with Emily, and our dogs have grown leaps and bounds in that short time. Food and toy defensiveness is so much better, and they can finally be relaxed around each other.

Dogs are always a work in progress - and you need to put in a lot of time outside of training, of course - but it was so worth it! My 9-month old mini schnauzer was doing great with her commands, but needed support around reactivity. We had previously worked with a different trainer and it wasn't the right method for my pup, so I searched for trainers who specialize in reactivity and I lucked out with Swetlana. Lana showed up to the first session and had such a positive interaction with my pup, she came prepared for handouts to help me in-between sessions and used every minute of our time together to train me and my pup. Lana has a calm and soothing demeanor which was great for my dog and me! She never once made me feel like a failure for having a dog that is reactive, but gave me tools to help calm/relax my pup. I can't say enough great things about Wonder Dog Training. We had Emily as our trainer and she had such extensive knowledge of dog behavior and training that it was really amazing to get to learn from her. The amount of information she was able to gain during the evaluation, just based on what we had to say and the observation of how our dogs were acting was so impressive. We started with 7 sessions and ended up having 9, we will probably add on a few more in some months for refreshers. I appreciated that we were given information to review and keep to refer back to. I'd say that the training is really for the pet parents most of all, because you are the one that needs to put the work in and make sure you are putting what you learned into practice. We hired Corrina for the 2 week puppy board and train. We found her amazing! She really bonded with our dog Hazel and it was clear to us how much Hazel loved being with her while learning all her new manners. She gave us updates during her time including videos and even took her on excursions to help reinforce her training in different scenarios. She was great in the follow up meetings always making sure our questions were answered and making it easy for us to practice and understand all that Hazel had learned so we could learn and continue the training with her. So glad we found Corinna! It gives such peace of mind knowing our girl is being well taken care of at daycare. My rescue Weim had some dog and defensive reaction issues. I had Melissa as a trainer and she was AWESOME! Very knowledgeable with dogs, their behaviors and reactions. Gave very good training tips and worked well with my Weim. I now have a very good foundation to continue the training we have been doing with him. He is much calmer and not as reactive to other dogs. My Weim is still a work in progress, but thanks to Melissa I feel like I can manage and continue the work we have been doing. She’s very invested in helping you, the owner, learn as well as your dog. I hope I spell her name right, Corrina was not a your typical dog babysitter watcher, she is something else. She really took the time to understand my rescue dog August and made every effort to socialize August with other dogs, play with her, and so much more. I know my August can be a difficult dog, but Corrina really used her canine behavioral training to another level in a way that made August feel awesome. Corrina went above and beyond training my father’s dog, who sadly had to be re-homed because my father has dementia. She took his dog who did not approach (rather hid) and barked at strangers, was not properly house broken, and had never been on a leash and converted her to a sweet loving dog that was no longer as timid around strangers, is now leash trained, and is properly potty trained (see dog on the left in photo). Veronica took amazing care of our puppy!!! We had to go out of town at short notice but Wonder Dog and Veronica came to the rescue taking wonderful care of him for 10 days. I had the BEST experience with Lana Falke helping me with my boy, Bode. He is a large Rhodesian Ridgeback who needed guidance, confidence and working through issues with some male dog reactivity. Lana was incredible at taking him from a non-listener, challenging 100# teenage boy, to attentive, responsive, and calmer in public. She gave me tools and homework which helped develop our bond even further!
