Our dog is completely different from the first session the trainer has given us the tools to continue training our high energy dog on our own I just want to thank wonder dog training for sending rachelle out and completely changing our dog still high energy but controllable and a WONDER DOG thank you

We worked with Jenna for the past 7 weeks , for our one year old Dalmatian. We could not have asked for a better training experience. Throughout the weeks, we have noticed a tremendous change in the way our dog reacts to situations , as well as how much better we’ve learned to interact with him. We will continue to work with Jenna for the next few months , and we would recommend her to anyone who wants positive reinforcement training , with a trainer who cares so much about what she does!

I have been working with Wonder Dog training since 2011 and have never been disappointed! I have had private lessons for some behavior issues with my rescue dog and attended group lessons for my puppy with great success! I highly recommend them for any dog training needs!

My Jack Russell, Peaches, had some behavior issues. I called Wonder Dog Training and Carrie, at the initial evaluation was able to give incredible insight. We had five lessons. Now Peaches is a much happier dog. And I am a happier pet parent! I absolutely recommend Wonder Dog Training!

My pup was in great hands with Alexa! He came back so happy and well mannered after staying with her while we vacationed. She worked on and improved everything from puppy jumping to staying and waiting. All with love and positive reinforcement :) He listens so well now and she came to our house upon our return to teach us the commands as well as how to keep the skills he learned. So worth it!

We had the pleasure of working with Jenna and were very happy with our lessons. Jenna was professional, communicative, very knowledgeable, patient and attentive. While we still have more work to do we feel educated and have direction thanks to such a good teacher.

We hired Catherine Alexander and she was fantastic! Worked on having our one year old pug stay,sit, and sit when people come to door.It was a great investment she was very patient with the dog & owners!

After brining home an Australian Shepherd puppy for our family we were forced to very quickly come to terms with just how much energy these fur babies have!!!! We were on the brink of total hopelessness in training him until we saw Katherine work with him and saw him learn from her! I highly recommend Kim as a trainer. We got a rescue puppy and needed help with basic good manners training. In five weeks, Kim was able to help us turn our nippy, undisciplined puppy into the sweetest, best behaved dog I've ever owned. All of the training is done with positive rewards. My husband and I called Wonderdog on the advice of our veterinarian after one of our two new puppies started exhibiting some behavior we could not figure out. The woman that answered our calll was a wealth of information including diagnosing the dog behavior as resource guarding which sounds simple but is scary when it happens. We went on to Wonderdog socializing classes and later private home lessons with Jenna, who is an amazingly talented dog trainer. She tailored the lessons to teach the behaviors that were important to us. At the end of the lessons, we have two dogs that are well behaved, don't jump on people, put themselves in their pen, plus all the usual dog comands. Just as important, we know how to teach our dogs effectively, and we know how to prevent resouce guarding. Jenna has been a fabulous asset in helping us choose a dog that is right for our family, as well as the training itself. After an in-home interview that helped us to understand how a dog would fit into our life and what breeds we might want to consider, she answered numerous follow up questions. She was available when we were meeting dogs to help us get a great match between the dog and our family. When we finally did select a dog from a rescue that was a few hours away she was available to review videos and reassure us that the very shy dog in the video had potential. She met us when the dog came home and helped us plan for the next several days until we could meet again which really helped us to know what to expect. Alexa is fabulous! She boarded and trained our 12 week old Goldendoodle and she came a new puppy! It is hard to believe she was able to get rid so many impulsive puppy behaviors in just 2 weeks! She uses compassionate, yet structured trechniques and it was obvious that our puppy was loved while there. Alexa also teaches the owner how to continue the training and techniques at home. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!!

Kim Feinberg helped us a lot with our 6 year old reactive dog. She really helped us understand her better and find ways to improve her behavior. It showed us that you can train an older dog. My 6 month toy Pom Kona, was a wild child, I contacted Wonder Dog Training for both of us. Sharon is patient, upbeat and great trainer. Kona would bark at people & other dogs when walked, Kona was also skittish about cars on the road.
Kona is full of confidence now, no barking or acting out with cars passing. Kona is calm also at home, no longer barking at vehicles, people, dogs that pass by living room window.

Our trainer, Jenna, gave me the tools and the confidence to read the signs that my anxiety-reactive dog was exhibiting and gave my dog the ability to trust me to acknowledge and relieve her feelings of anxiety. I got a better, more relaxed dog and my dog got a confident and dependable owner. Jenna is a wonderful person and an amazing trainer - kind, thorough and extremely knowledgeable. "Who Rescued Who?" the oft-seen bumper sticker asks. In August, we rescued Lacey, a year-and-a-half old Boxer/Rottweiler mix. In October, Sharon Westervelt rescued us. Lacey is a strong-willed, high energy handful-and-a-half. And strong as an ox. We needed help.

Sharon has been more than just a great teacher to us. She has been like a concerned aunt to Lacey, frequently following up by phone or text to be sure we had all questions answered and offering additional suggestions. It is clear that she wants us to be comfortable with our dog and that she cares deeply for Lacey's future.

We cannot say enough about how much Wendy helped us. Our dog was an easily overstimulated puppy and could not control himself. He bit everybody and everything! She helped us calm him through training, and completely saved our sanity. Two years later we have gotten a second dog, who is a rescue with separation anxiety, and have called Wendy to help us with the adjustment. I have complete confidence that she will help us and our dogs become a calm, confident family once again. So thankful we found Wendy!

We have been using Wonder Dog for training our Puppy German Shepherd and our Older Chihuahua. Rachelle has been great as trainer providing us with useful behavioral information on how to best train and Stetson has been fantastic in helping to walk and train our dogs while giving them plenty of love!
