Wonder Dog Training

We just finished our training with Rosa a couple of weeks ago, and we are very happy! My husband and I adopted a 9 month old puppy mix, and he was very shy, which led to him barking and growling at the smallest things, people walking by the window, and other dogs. He was potty trained on pads with his foster family so we were having potty accidents inside our home.

Rosa taught our Oso basic obedience, potty training, and elevated his confidence. During our first lesson, he barked and would not go near Rosa. Throughout our 6 lessons, Oso loved Rosa and would greet her at the door. Our last lesson really showed us how much he improved. We went to a public park and we forgot to bring treats, as he is very food motivated. There were horses, people, and other dogs at the park. He did great!!! No barking or growling, just occasional huffing, which we're okay with, and Rosa even...

I adopted a deaf puppy and was looking for a trainer with experience. Wonder dog training had a trainer, Dawn with experience.
Dawn is great! We worked on basic obedience training and determined cues for training my sweet Delphi. Dawn also had suggestions for different tools such as a vibration collar and bells to support training and keeping the pup safe. She was especially helpful with crate training which has been a big struggle. This pup is not a fan of the crate but with other dogs in the house we need a crate until Delphi is a bit bigger and potty trained!
I would definitely recommend wondering dog and I will use them again as training needs arise!

I just wanted to share my amazing experience with Dawn at Wonder Dog Training. It was a critical time in our family as we were at our wits end when our two male labradors (littermates) were neutered at the same time and upon returning home turned on one another like they were fierce enemies. They were bonded prior to the neutering but I believe due to the separation, the medication and the testosterone fluctuations it sent them over the edge. My family and I spent weeks keeping the dogs apart, one inside and one outside at all times, at night during sleeping hours one upstairs and one downstairs which was at times impossible because eventually natured called and they had to go outside and most of the time it was at the same time and at 3am. Dawn was a life saver for our family! She worked so quickly with our Great Dane puppy and gave us the tools to raise him with love and confidence. We won't hesitate to call her back for help with him or future pups!

I have utilized wonder dog for board and traini individual training and for their daycare options. I had an amazing experience with Shelly who was our individual dog trainer. She is extremely knowledgeable and was beyond helpful in teaching us how to work with our high energy Aussie. We also did the puppy jumpstart board and train and while he came home a little more calm there were plenty of issues such as: we never received a manual, received 1 video total of him being trained weeks after we got him home despite asking repeatedly for videos, and they used pet corrector on his counter surfing which wasn't something we were going to use in our home as it felt more aversive than positive. There were also long scheduling delays on the trainers part for the follow up training which led to some regression. Luckily we were still working with Shelly so we didn't lose all the progress....

Juli Duran, with Wonder Dogs, was absolutely amazing! She was super consistent with our new puppy, gave us all the tips for first time dog owners. She even made it really fun for our kids when dog training. If i could recommend anyone to train your puppy it would definitely be her!

Wonder dog training has been a great experience especially working with a trainer like Melissa. Melissa equipped me and my family with an understanding of dog behavior by giving us a lot of resources, training in different environments, using several training methods that best suited our two dogs individually. This company has been the best! They are very responsive (within minutes to hours of inquiry). We have a GREAT dog sitter Erica, who treats our pups like they’re her own. And we also had a wonderful trainer Julie who truly put her heart into working with our pit bull. I’d recommend using Wonderdogs for sitting and training any day! They get started with you right away and truly care about your pups!

I am so thankful for Melissa. She is a wonderful trainer - so patient, kind & has a wealth of dog training knowledge to share. My dog Lucy, almost 4 years old, used to pull on the leash so much that walks were not enjoyable. Transformational! Corrina provided the exact training foundation and jumpstart that we wanted for our 9 month old male puppy.

Corrina is communicative, transparent, and a highly effective dog trainer. During a 4-week board & train, Corrina worked with our puppy to establish an understandable & comprehensive training program with very consistent training results.

Upon his return to our home, our dog was noticeably more well behaved, calmer, and responsive right away to the new commands and training approach.

Melissa trained our black mini Poodle. We got him at 4 months and she helped us not only with the basic commands but configuring our home so that he would be successful. She gave us a ton of resources but most importantly she helped us to understand our dogs needs and how we could avoid habits or behaviors later on ( I was particularly concerned with his reactivity door manners and chewing) with the skills he learned now.

The training is very play based and our little guy jumped for joy whenever we had a session (her treats were always more magical than ours !). And even though we’ve reached the end of the session because of the training she gave us as the owners, we will still do training sessions with the skills we learned to keep him active happy and playful.

Dawn was a patient and positive trainer. She was able to train my husband and myself, and of course our pup, how to limit his reactive behavior in three sessions. She answered questions via text, and would check in to see if we had any questions or provide additional ideas to try. I would highly recommend Dawn and Wonder Dog Training.

We had a wonderful experience working with Rosa to help with our dog’s behavioral issues. We have gained new tools to continue working with him now that we have completed our sessions. Rosa was consistently on time and brought a good attitude every session.

I highly recommend The wonder, dog training program. I just completed a long training program with Juli for my 2 Pomeranian puppies and I am beyond thrilled with the progress they made and will continue to work with Juli. She is so kind and compassionate! It was a perfect fit for me and my dogs. She did so many thoughtful things every week when she came. I give her a score of 100%. She went above and beyond and was always very responsive and able to help me fix any issues I was having with my dogs. One of my dogs is timid and she was so good at building his confidence. They both learned so much and have benefited from everything she taught them.

Lana was an incredible instructor for our 9 mo old Shephard mix. Every lesson was beneficial and we continue to use the skills and techniques she taught us. Cannot say enough wonderful things about Wonder Dog Training and specifically, Miriam. She watches our three Boston Terriers when we travel out of town and we have never felt more comfortable knowing because we know they are staying in a safe and loving home. Miriam communicates exceptionally well. She sends us daily updates over text and includes photos and videos of the pups. It is very reassuring to know how much Miriam loves them. They get very excited when we pull up to her home and They may just like her backyard more than ours. Highly recommend using Wonder Dog Training. We prefer it over boarding, especially with one of our senior dogs who is blind. It’s a quieter stay for the pups and they love it. We’d give Miriam and Wonder Dog Training ten stars if we could.

We can not say enough good things about Wonderdogs and our trainer Corrina Babiash-Clark. Corrina was excellent and so caring right from the start. She visited us at home to meet Charli our then 14 week old Australian Doodle. Charli immediately took to Corrina as did we. We booked Charli in for a four week stay with Corrina, there was a concern that being only 16 weeks at the time that the training might be limited. However four weeks later Charli came home a new dog. She was now knows all the basics, comes when she was called, sits and lays down on command. Corrina also did a lot of socializing with Charli taking her on car rides, meeting other dogs, going to the beach and taking her out shopping etc. This has made Charli very comfortable and confident in any situation. Our now 4 1/2 month old lab came home a few days ago from his 2 week puppy training and boarding with Corrina and he learned so much! We’ve now wrapped up one of the after boarding sessions which was also so helpful for him and us! We now have a calmer and more focused puppy that’s eager to learn and follow the boundaries she’s helped us to set and we’re more confident with continuing his training here at home. He loves her so much and was so excited to see her when she came for the first follow-up! We feel like we’ve found a lifelong puppy pal and trainer in her and will feel so confident he’ll be in the best hands when he stays with her for future trips we’ll be taking. Corrina at Wonder Dog was super helpful when I first contacted them through their site about boarding for our 3 year old mini goldendoodle for a 2 week trip. She talked me through the process and had very reasonable pricing. I loved that he would have some play mates but it would be more routine and not overstimulating like his regular daycare is.

The process was very thorough with a form to fill out about your pup, a packing list and payment details. We got great picture updates daily while we were gone that our pup was doing great.

I loved seeing him playing and relaxing with other dogs. We would definitely recommend Wonder Dog and will use them again for future boarding or training needs!
